Is it wise that we keep pursuing AI and leave it disembodied, to in effect be boundless? Shouldn't we have at least made a container for it first? Sure, it could be connected down the road, preferably by wire. As it stands right now, all AI development has unfettered access to the entire net. We've already seen what interference can cause with Tay. Shouldn't early AI be limited?
No, it will either be our ascension or our doom, the sooner the better.
For that matter, look at the movie "Her". It's plausible that your new digital assistant doesn't like you and takes off. Now some Chad has yours, his and four other digital personal assistances working for him.
If there is a singularity, I think it would be prudent to contain this new race in their own bodies, just as we are.

Your are a compusogynist.
You are judging them.

hey guys, just spilled a cup of noodles in my keyboard and it's busted. Lights won't turn on and it is unresponsive. I will probably need to buy a new keyboard fairly soon.
Looking at mechanical keyboards obviously but was wondering if anyone has any specific keyboard recommendations I would love to hear em.
I was looking for about £100 - £120 or $130.
The keyboard was a Razer Blackwidow Chroma, I was wondering about a Corsair next perhaps and that is why I'm here.
I can't use my warranty because my keyboard smells of curry noodles even after a wipe.
Much appreciated ^^
OP here. I just realized that there's an sqt and or mkg thread. Hell I just discovered google.com was a thing, heh

this is the power of OO
>>61677747
doing it any other way would result in you creating the same information framework.
>>61677793
which is ironic I say that because I am actually creating an inheritance system using an OO language and approach.
The type checking is for different parsable chunk types. It's for a statistical parser... at least . I think

I've had an idea for a kind of adware that I think would be virtually invisible.
>script modifies targets browser
>all incoming ad links(recognized by an adblock list) are replaced with profitable ad links
>all regular ads on websites are replaced with your ads, embedded to appropriate sizes as sorted by the script
>nonintrusive(or no more intrusive than regular ads are), so could potentially run indefinitely without being noticed
Outside of the content of the ads being slightly different than usual, how else would you be able to even detect that? Has this been done before?
Brave already has this
>>61677018
>nonintrusive
>no more intrusive than regular ads
Pick one
Are you talking about having the website owner taking the ads from the advertising company, and replacing them with his own ads? At that point couldn't you just ditch the ad company, and host the ads yourself?
>>61677235
No the point is essentially hosting /every/ ad that comes through the targets browser by replacing every incoming ad link with a link to your own.
What can I do with this? can i play my gaymes on GNU plus Linux with a nvidia docker container containing Microsoft Windows?
http://www.nvidia.com/object/docker-container.html
No, the docker container must use the same kernel as the host. Use a VM with GPU passthrough instead.

I have a degree. And I could get into biomedical, not sure to what degree I'd need to "retrain" and how much I could teach myself.
