So I'm gonna start a job laboring soon in construction, anyway I aint /fit/ at all, in fact I'm a very hungry Skellington, so i'm looking forward to this; I've got an opportunity get paid to do some nice physical labour and get fit in the process. Basically, does /fit/ have any tips for surviving the job and maximising any possible physical gains so I can unlock construction worker body mode.

Trying to bulk up arms. On Friday I drank a ton of Muscle Milk and worked out. I went on a giant hike yesterday and climbed trees; the rest of my body is good. But my arms are dead. Should I push through the pain and drink more Muscle Milk and workout today or wait until tomorrow?

how do you get past plateaus?
i eat enough and my form is good. but i'm stalling. right now i do 3x10 OHP and bench, and can't get past 100lb OHP or 1pl8 bench.
i've tried doing negatives with OHP by doing push presses, but it hasn't helped too much.

I started a couple of weeks ago since doing bro splits and my squat has gone up nicely. I add chin-ups, face-pulls, and incline bench. OHP is a bitch to add weight on though.
SL 5x5 is the routine I'm doing right now too, on my third month and progress is good. I love the app, dem fucking graphs.

'Sup guys, I'm wanna start a PPL routine, which is the best one for mass? Been lifting on and off for about 2 years. Is coolcicada's routine any good?

I ran coolcicada's PPL with deadlifts on back day for about six months. I got decent size gainz going from a beginner (used to be on bad brosplit, so I had a year of bad lifting) to what I am now.
lmao4pl8 squat, lmao5pl8 diddly, and lmao 3.5pl8 bench.
His routine will make your bench way stronger than everything else. It took a lot of dedication to get the squat higher than my bench.
This is what I've been doing the last 3 months and I works out pretty good..
I only care for strength in my bench, squat, DL and pull-ups.
The thing about this program that I like is that if I miss a day, then I just start from where I left.
So I'm trying to do ABCDEFx but sometimes things comes up and then you just take a rest day whenever there is need for it
