Does NoFap even work? I'm on day 9 and nothing yet. I've barely even found any difficulty. Just to test myself I looked at some porn briefly, and I had no urge to jerk off.

Most people say NoFap works by boosting your confidence with women, but I've got no desire for a relationship anyway so I don't even know why I'm doing this.

It really depends. For most people its a placebo effect.

For me, it was my body's constant expectation to be 'emptied out" whenever the urge arrived.

kinda like how if you wanted to know something, you'd pick up your phone and google it.

But in this case, when I stopped fapping and that urge hit, my brain kinda freaked out.

i did get some additional clarity and drive, for sure. Though i doubt permanent abstenence will do anything more than frustrate you.

Give it about a week, then go back to normal and cut back when you can or dont.
