if you're a night lifter, don't expect to start lifting in the morning and expect to feel normal during the day, same for if you're a morning lifter and start lifting at night.

A few years of office work life and bad eating habits has left me about 10hs overweight, I am also lacking muscle.

I am not particularly interested in lifting weights, and I have a prior knee injury so running frequently is not really an option.

Could I get shredder if I put in an intense 30 mins on a rowing machine every morning?

From those that I've tried I'd recommend straciatella, rocky road or anything chocolate-related.

I'd avoid fruity tastes because they always taste like shit and because mixing them with milk will make that even more obvious.

So this is 4chan, and I get that it's our full-time job to be faggots all the time, but I want to seriously reach out for help here.

So I'm 6'2'', I'm 18, and I probably weigh like 150 pounds or something. I'm on the computer all day, schooling online and vidya in my free time. I'm moving out of the house soon, though. Going to be living in student housing for college, and I'm really worried about being physically independent since I'm super weak.

I want to get strong. I'm not overly concerned about aesthetic gains, as I think just a fit body looks nice enough. I want to be strong enough that I don't have to worry about moving a box, or opening a jar, or any other shit that comes up in my daily life.

I'm setting my time-frame as 3-months. Within these months, I want to drop the junk, start eating healthy, working out regularly, and become an over-all fit person. I understand that this is just a start, but I think that this is a decent and realistic time frame to set myself up with the base I need to stay healthy.

Can anyone on here give me some information on where to start? I've read the sticky, but I want some hands-on info here. Simple-yet-complicated stuff, like what to eat, how to work out, and how to keep track of myself is what I'm looking for. At home, I have a set of 25-pound adjustable handweights, and a bike-holder thing to bike indoors. I can probably get a gym membership without a hassle, but I'd like to know what I can do at home when I can't make it out to a gym AS WELL AS what I should try to do in a gym.

If you have a question that you think would help you help me, I'll try to answer.

What does /fit/ think about the prospect of men just starting to use Rogaine (or similar products) in their 20s, regardless of whether or not they're going bald? just as an insurance policy against going bald.

I am assuming that Rogaine doesn't do much to regrow hair, but does prevent the onset of balding, which seems to be agreed upon by many people.

So to prevent balding, should men (at least those who care about balding) just bring Rogaine into their everyday routine once they get into their 20s?

You can get a brandname Rogaine for something like £10-£15/month. Even at double dosage, that's still only £20-£30/month. I haven't researched it, but there may be cheaper generic products as well. So cost really isn't a factor.

Hair covers my head, but it looks much thinner around the crown. I don't have a nice little hair parting at the crown of my head; rather, the hair around my crown tends to stick out in every which way, making the scalp very visible in the same way as you might see the scalp of someone who gels their hair up. Sometimes it makes me paranoid and I think I'd like to choose the safe option of rogaining. On top of that, I don't wash my hair with any products anyway, since I think they're bad for the natural oils the skin produces. So expenditure on anti-balding shit would be just making up for my lack of expenditure on any other cosmetic products.

Anyone feel similar?
