/fit/, I need your knowledge. Basically, I'm 31, never really did any sports or workout, however I'm still quite fit (182cm/66kg). Recently broke up with gf, some other things happened and now I'm looking into some workout routines, because wanna git gud. My friend recommended Insanity Max 30 and it seems to my unprofessional eye quite good. How good it really is? I'm not looking to get huge muscles, just toned and fit. So, what are your thoughts about it, is it as good as they say it is or is it just some stupid shit and not as good as some other techniques?

No you aren't. You're not unhealthy but you'll almost certainly be in bad shape, so don't jump into anything containing cardio with high hopes of it being easy.

What happens if you create a confy vest, that hangs from the ceiling, you get in it, and sleep 2 nights a week in it with some weight added to your legs, will that make you taller? It won't stretch bones, but it will stretch your spine to its maximum capacity. Don't call me crazy because some people actually break their tibea to get a metal inserted in order to stretch their legs and become taller.

Usually
3-4 sets of quad extensions machine
3-4 sets of squats
3 sets of 28s on the leg press
3 sets lunges
Few sets of calves and few sets of hams
But inevitably by the end of the workout I feel sick and nauseous. This only happens on leg day, can anyone tell me why? Maybe I'm eating too much or not enough before? Or drinking too much water or not enough during the workout?

My women is 95 kg. In last months she lost 10 kg. She is dieting (counting calories - 1700 daily) and exercising (45 minutes daily, cardio and stretching mainly) + swimming pool and walks in park + sex.
Yet, from three/four weeks she doesn't lose weight. What is happening /fit/? This chick really want to lose her weight, is determinated and I will do everything to help her stop being a fat sow.

She is not eating. She present me all of her calculations and when i'm around there are absolutely no signs of not giving a fuck about counting calories (like forgetting to count them). I also see what is in her fridge - nothing that she isn't tell me that she eat. Everything is fine.
Well, I was virgin till i met her at 25, that first. And second - she really have nice personality. Don't fuck chads, let me do what I want, her cooking is really great, pretty funny, has only one bf before and till' she met me, she was antisocial, is eager to change her weight... I dumped her at first because of her weight but she told me that she is gonna change. And from that moment she is dieting.

no gym in my area but would like to start getting myself on the right track.
I read the sticky but the only workouts I could find in there involved a gym / freeweights. Have dumb bell set from 5-40lbs, row machine, and stairs in my house that I can use. Would someone be able to help me come up with a beginner workout plan?

Instead of lifting weights, lose fat with cardio and diet. You don't need a running plan. Just run, jog, walk, whatever until you absolutely can't do it anymore. Then do that every day (or at least five times a week). Eat better. Abandon the disgusting junk food. Eat lean meats, veggies, drink water. Salad, make your own. Don't buy processed stuff either. Progress will probably be slow, but keep at it. Once you drop all the extra weight, focus on building muscle. Then you can start on the beginner exercises in the sticky.
Losing weight isn't something you can half-ass and get away with. It takes full dedication. Track your calories, stick to your schedule.

one of the reasons i was attracted to the row machine (got it from neighbor when they moved) was it is low impact for my knee. basically ruined my right knee when I was a kid so running is very painful. Main reason I got into video games, actually. Over the last couple months I have been eating better, basically no sugar in my diet except morning tea as well
