I'm in the hospital right now. I have an an MRI in the morning. The docs think I have MS.

It started with vision issues Thursday. Didn't get better. Then Saturday I started walking funny, limping on my left leg. Sunday morning, my left hand coordination was shit and walking was even harder than the day before.

So I bit the bullet and went to the ER. Initial tests, include motor control exercises and CT scan, indicate MS.

I'm 6'4" 250 and my lifts are 1/2/3/4. Or at least they were. Bye gains.

Know anybody with MS? Do they lift? Can they function? How fucked am I?

You're going to be ok man. They have wonderful mediation for MS now. There is a special diet called the wahls protocol that essential stops ms. You will be ok please trust me. I went through the same thing this time last year. You need to just relax and find the best possible doctors to treat you. You will be okay and you will still function normally if you follow your doctor's orders. Also here is a good luck doggo.

You can slightly tilt your head up but really the only two options are beard or surgery. Make sure to skip gifts for your parents on Christmas for passing on such weak chin genetics

Been lifting for a while now and something I've been struggling with is overhead press. Specifically I can't work out how to cycle my breathing correctly during the reps. For a while now I have simply been breathing out at the top and in as I lower the bar but I feel like sacrificing the tension in my core as I lower the bar is a bad thing. From what I've read people seem to recommend breathing in and out at the base of the rep and holding it through the motion. To me this seems a little impractical because of how much it spreads your reps out.

So how do you cycle your breathing while doing OHP /fit/?

Do you really want to be fucking with your core tension while holding the barbell above your head though? I tend to lose some stability while breathing in/out at the top of the rep.

Hi, /fit/. How are you getting your fiber intake to ensure clean, non-bloody BMs? I like baby spinach, but it goes bad fast in storage and it's a pain in the ass to keep going to the grocery store. I've been eating pic related, but I'm open to better suggestions.

I'm pretty shredded 5'4" 126 huge biceps. Anyway some lanklet was talking to a girl on the cardio machine as I stroll up to run a few miles as a warmup.

He's telling her how he used to play basketball in college, to which I started laughing and said "of course a lanklet like you would play basketball"

The guy and girl both got super red in the face and the girl started smiling and twisting her hair over at me and laughing.

The guy shrugs his shoulders and take off. I get the girls number. We have a date tomorrow (well - it was tonight but her grandpa died).

I just started lifting last week, and I felt like a total idiot taking forever to actually deadlift because I kept trying to correct my stance to make sure I'm doing it right and was only using 25lbs on each side. Is it socially acceptable to do this? Thanks in advance.
