Why are there so many feels threads on this board? And why is there so much forever alone/ social advice threads also? What is even stranger is how many people relate to these threads(myself included)

I started lifting so I actually had a reason to leave the house, now I look good and have a few friends. Face is still 6/10, but I dont care too much.

I still have bad confiesence outside of the gym, I think less of myself. I often think less of myself when I'm all alone. I wish I could be un-social again so I could focus on school, work and lifting Only.

Hey guys, I have really bad Gyno. I'm 20 years old and I don't have nearly enough money to afford surgery. My parents are mega conservative and weird, and wouldn't understand if I told them "Mom, dad, I have tits and I need a breast reduction" It's really fucking my life up. I need help with this pronto.

Cardio alone only builds endurance and weightlifting only builds mass - both alone do not teach your body to adapt to real life situations. Crossfit combines both into something that you can actually use in real life and enjoy! Make sure to take your time learning and pay for a few sessions with a good PT before you try the more advanced crossfit exercises you may see on tv. Going shopping a bit later and I need to switch up my diet a bit. For the past 6 months it's been nothing but chicken breast, brown rice, broccoli, oats, pasta and all the normal shit. Do it a lot. 4-6 times a week, do gripper work at home constantly. Forearms, like calves, are capable of training with massive frequency. I laugh when people train forearms once per week and expect them to grow.

About to go to the gym for the first time in my life and begin starting strength.

How much weight should I be lifting? I don't work out yet but I'm not terribly unfit and not weak.

First learn to do the movements, with proper form. This might take a couple weeks.

Then, you want to lift as much as you can. Your 5 rep max. Don't lift so much that your form breaks down.

I started off at (5 rep max)

Squat: 185
Bench: 155
Deadlift: 250 (roughly)
Power Cleans: 140
OHP: 95

Did you read the book? Start warming up with an empty bar and then add up to what's difficult for you to lift, then start maybe 20% under those weights.

When I first started I was at 1pl8 squat, bench, and deadlift, and I think like 65lbs OHP
Was 6ft 225, now 6ft 215. Quit lifting nearly a year ago and have kept almost no healthy habits. Will probably die alone.

How do I acheive such skin? I have loads of body hair (blonde) and not really nice. Not dry but not so nice texture and feel wise. Just looks like every fucker with some muschle has a smooth skin. Is it about genes and Im fucked or need to exercise more?

My gim doesn't have a squat rack.

I begin my OHP with a deadlift to get in the position and start my set.
That's ok, but when it comes to squats I'm fucked. The smith machine sucks and I tried to do front squats and it hurts my wrists so much, what can I do?

I tried and check'd my form, tried doing it only with the bar and it still hurts no matter what I do (I know I'm supposed to handle the bar with my shoulders etc).

What alternatives do I have? Will dumbell squats be my only choice?
