Trying to fix my sleep schedule by staying up a whole day and sleeping at 8pm.
>ended up taking 3 caffeine pills because roommates girlfriend told me they were 100mg each
>turns out theyre 200mg each
on top of the tea i've already drank I've probably injested 700mg caffeine within 10 minutes. Am I fucked?

AHHH MY HEARTRATE IS CRAZY
I'll never understand why people eat this rice-chicken-broccoli bullshit (oh shit no fat gotta chug down olive fucking oil lel!!)
Pork shoulder steaks, mexican mixed beans and half of a corn gives practically the same macros and tastes 100x better.
practically any meat-lentil/bean combo will give you the same macros (cod or beef + roasted potatos and peas, etc)
>>39113908
why did anon photoshop a prolapsed anus where the mouth should be?
i know right
it's mostly because they can't cook or dont wanna invest the time
chicken are 1.99/lb you double nigger.
Should I bulk or cut?
Cut
And I mean cut as in take a butchers cleaver and cut all that fat off piggy
>>39113525
cut your wrists
>>39113525
You should bulk, thank you hungry skeleton
I'm currently on a cut and I feel like I don't get that much stronger between muscle group sessions. Do your gains slow down or stall when you're on a cut?
>>39113501
This is a joke right?
>>39113512
real question, I feel like I was getting stronger faster before
You need to eat big to get big. That isn't just a meme.
Less food means less energy, protein, and fat to work with when building muscle.
I know it is just a meme, but legitimately what is wrong with lifting for girls? I certainly don't have a personality that girls like, so I pretty much gotta lift. If I didn't care about girls I absolutely not care about weightlifting or bodybuilding at all.
>>39113466
> but legitimately what is wrong with lifting for girls?
Found the one guy on /fit/ who doesn't live for ripped, oiled up, naked men. What a faggot!
>>39113466
Idk. But I recommend finding a form of fitness that you do enjoy because it will make it a lot easier and fun
Because why not just improve your personality?
Those gains would help you so much more, in all parts of your life.
Just to be clear I'm 19, 6'3 and weight 155lbs, so I'm rocking that Auschwitz physique that make people really uncomfortable when you have a barbell over your head. Today I was supposed to start my Starting Strength journey, but when I got the gym and was clumsily trying to get in position to do my first ever squat this trainer guy came up to me and said that I shouldn't do it, that I had to get a "base" before doing these kinds of exercises.
I then tried to explain to him that I was just starting to do this Starting Strength program, and that is supposed to be done by beginners and etc. He then said that I could do it at my own risk, but he at least would show me how to the exercises properly. There was the problem. He advised me to do squats at like 120º, with very different hand, elbow, back and hips positions from what I had seen in Mark Rippetoe and Alan Thrall instructional videos. He also told me to never go deep (not even get into parallel) because it would fuck up <insert some mubo-jumbo muscle names here> and kill my back.
In the bench-press he told me to do it with my feet on the bench and told me that I shouldn't arch my back and more different stuff from what I had seen in the instructional videos. All of that really turned me off and I didn't even do the workout, I don't really know if the guy has a point or not because I have no experience at all with lifting weights. Do you guys think that he maybe has a point and will get fucked up doing these exercises because I'm weak? If hes wrong, what can I do? I can't confront the guy having no real experience, and he won't let me do it the way I believe is right. (No other gyms close by either)
Yeah sometimes you have to do what you believe is right even though people are telling you you're wrong. Keep at it man

Wear headphones and don't take then off when he tries to talk to you. Fuck gains goblins man. I remember when I was a noob benching 95 lbs and struggling this faggot came to me and said there's an assisted one downstairs (Smith). Good thing I didn't listen to that faggot. Just ignore him and if he doesn't get the message and keeps bothering you then just complain to management.
I need help /fit/
Started to cut down on sugar and fast food intake.
Began a routine but it been over 3 yrs since I've actually done anything.
Ive read the sticky at least 12 times and i know its not going to happen without hard core discipline and where i want to be is going to take time.
My motivation is getting healthy, to look decent naked, and to improve myself to show a female what she gave up on. Part of me is doing it tp spite her.
So any pointers and tips will be helpful.
It'll take years. It won't be easy and if that's the only reason you've got you probably won't make it. Put down the fork and get walking. Count calories, get a food scale and read up on basic nutrition.
>>39113164
Youuuuu're not goooing tooo maaake iiitt
1. Stop eating processed garbage. If you can't read all the words in the ingredient label - don't put it in your body
2. Ensure you hit the gym at least 3 times a week
3. Do compound movement lifts. Bench press, overhead press, deadlifts, squats
It's simple. You are the enemy
How the fuck do you choose your preworkouts /fit/? They all seems to have very different ingredients. What should I look for? Are preworkouts even worth getting?
>>39113151
overthinking it senapi. All that should matter is does it work and does it taste good?
just drink coffee, which is 15 times cheaper and is the main ingrediente in every pre-workout.
the ammount of citruline and arginine in pre-workouts is a fraction of what they would need to be to have any effect.
>>39113155
What's it's main use? Better pumps? Wake me the fuck up? Get me motivated? Do you have any that you recommend?
Been lifting for 5 years now and almost maxed out all my gains...
sq 500lbs
dl 580lbs
bench 330lbs
What can I improve?
oh shit is that my boy hemingway? what the fuck up nigga

Beat the shit out of his ugly nigger ass ofc.

Gently nudge his chest and let gravity topple his giant upper body over his tiny legs.
Call the nearest zoo and tell them a gorilla wearing men's clothing escaped.
What anime/manga do you use for inspiration, /fit/?
Posting the official /fit/ anime.

For the early birds:
Breakfast before or after workout?
I couldnt finish todays workout, and I believe its because I didnt eat before starting. What do you guys think?
>>39112829
>before or after
both
If it's weights, then I eat before.
If it's cardio, then after. Ez
>>39112829
I do morning workouts in the weekend, if you're gonna use some stims like alb, yohimbine or PWO its fine. But you can't really do intense long workouts that feel comfy without breakfast if you don't. I usually eat some oats and protein shake at 7 and am in the gym by 8 and that works fine.
Hey /fit/,
I'm naturally built and have some fat on the sides. I'm more muscular than people that go to the gym, despite not fitnessing or exercising (pretty active lifestyle besides that though, but mostly genetic luck).
I'm thinking of buying a road bike to travel back and forth to work (30 km total per day). Hopefully that will remove some fat, but I'm scared that my muscles will decrease too. In some biology courses I learnt that you have fast and slow muscles, and that slow muscles (cardio) are more lean than quick ones (strength). How true is this? I tilt towards manlettism and my muscles compensate that disadvantage effectively. Should I actually start fitnessing to compensate for that effect? I've got dumbells somewhere around.
>>39112805
Oh I'm not ripped btw, I mean that I'm more muscular than people that casually go to the gym (2-3 times a week without taking supplements/changing lifestyle)
you're probably not built or muscular, just fat and stupid like everyone who doesn't exercise but think they're strong
>>39112824
partially this.
Mainly youll probably not look as muscular as you think you will once the fat starts going
what if you're meant for each other, /fit/?
bear with me for i know that this statemens is a vague one
but
under certain circumstances, finding someone you truly like to be around and more, in say some shit hole as 4chan is one of many, wouldn't it be a shame to purposely have to forget someone you've met through said circumstances?
of course you're not obliged to stay friends for eternity with said person, but, in some twisted way, "fate" actually exists, wouldn't you agree?
yes it's my rest day but that has nothing to do with this thought of mine.
>>39112676
no one wanna get in on this fate stuff discussion with me?
>>39112676
Fate as in bumping into a lifelong friend on the chanz?
I don't know most boards are spereated by topics so if you go to specific ones you already have something in common with the other anons there already
The only "fate" that exists is the guidance of God, the rest is just coincidence.
