Hey /fit/, time to share your /fit/ dreams with the rest of the class.

So I just woke up from a nap, and I was having a dream where I was doing pull ups on an old friends porch. I don't actually like the guy anymore. Also, every time I'd pull up... I'd pull up way further than normal and hit my head. Then the pullup bar kept acting like the hinges were bending and going to break at any second... yet I kept doing pullups.

Ugh...

Coulda been worse?

Not even /fit/ but a real true man nightmare is testicle torsion and i'm sure both /fit/ and /sp/ fear this a lot

Has happened 2 times in this year but i fix it myself by doing it inversa and it becomes normal again but it would be extremely horrible if i had a severe testicle torsion though.

That's a position statement, not a study. Its a compilation of research by the American College of Sports Medicine.

Looks like someone saw my post in the "PPL vs SS" thread.

They recommend full body workouts for beginners. That, or upper lower splits. Their ideal version would be SS with chins and dips and do everything for sets of 8-12 until you get stronger.

That, or a split that allows you to a) begin workouts with compounds, then progress to isolations, b) pursue progressing overload, c) hit their reccomended rep ranges, and d) minimizes machine use.

I can think of a lot of ways to do that. Shit, even a PPL split would work, but according to them would be a waste of time for a noob. Each muscle group should be trained about twice per week. That's 6 workouts a week.

Hey fit. I need your help.
Made some good face and body gainz.
Wimminz mire me. I'm not able to have interesting conversations though. What I do at the moment is look in their eyes, smile and ask questions from time to time when they try to flirt with me. Some women are satisfied with this and just keep talking while I act like I'm interested.
I don't feel ready for dates though because I don't feel like shit like this would work for more than an hour or so. Also I don't think I can build meaningful relationships this way.

Don't take it out on the vendor.

There is a huge backlog during holiday times. Huge. It's very difficult for vendors. Imagine during the holidays you are worried and panicked that people are going to leave negative feedback because stuff came in the mail slowly (and you shipped it next day).

Knowing there is nothing you can do about it. I don't know how SST works but don't leave nasty comments for the guys, they tried their best.
