Should I be working out today since I didn't train yesterday?

when doing SL, just skip the day you were supposed to do and continue your schedule as normal, but do not skip again. The program only works if you miss as little days as possible.

I'm not sure myself, but most posters I read online say it's better 3 days to let the body rest.
Take two rest days in a row once a week. AxBxAxx, BxAxBxx.
If you're starting out you can get away with going more, but eventually you will need the extra recovery time to make gains and without experience may not be able to recognise when.

it's always worth it to lose weight if you're fat. even if you don't get aesthetic your quality of life will improve dramatically as long as you don't have psychological shit messing with your relationship with food. but even that can be fixed with some therapy.

Any other boxers here can tell me the pros and cons of the upright stance(pic related)? It's what I use 100% of the time since it's the way my first coach taught me. Also a southpaw
Depends on your height, if you are realtive tall for your weight, this stance will protect your head more and gived you a better view.

Being upright and a southpaw will be really disorienting and annoying to counter. I'm a tall for a boxer (6'1") which means most of my opponents (5'5" Mexicans) literally don't have the reach to pop me in the chin. One of the shorter guys on the boxing team actually had to jump to swing at me. So upright is definetly an advantage.
That being said, when you are upright, you aren't covering your solar plexus and gut as well, so Manny Manlet can really easily gutshot you and bend you forward. Also, because your hands are higher up, they have to travel a farther distance to nail your opponent, which means you are telegraphing your moves more than you would normally. That longer travel distance also means a longer period of time with reduced cover around your head.
These advantages only apply for boxing. If you are in MMA or some weird murderball shit, you want to be a manlet, b/c knee kicks are ok and having a tall center of gravity sucks.

body is pretty great at fixing itself. i had chest pain every time i stepped down (i.e. down stairs, walking down a hill) after falling while snowboarding. felt like a rib was poking into my heart or something. 1 month later all fixed wtf
