How do you guys fight gym boredom?

I'm 26 now and have been lifting since I was 15, 4-5 days a week for over 11 years and now I'm just feeling so.. disinterested.

I'm 5'11 170lbs/180cm kg

I'm just bored with the whole routine, I hate going to the gym, I hate never seeing progress, I'm never going to get leaner or stronger or bigger. What's the point?

You find something new to get excited about. A different goal, a different routine, new movements, whatever.

Unless you're a fucking monster, you can still get bigger/stronger/leaner. You're just not going to be able to do all three at once.

I have not been to the gym for nearly 3 weeks now.

This is due to injuring both of my shoulders from doing pec flies and lateral raises.

I have constant inflammation, clicking in my shoulders and high levels of pain lifting my arms at about chest height.

I am booked an ultra sound and an appointment with a sports physician but I have to wait 2 months before he is available.

I believe it is bicep tendonitis in both of my arms.

Has anyone had an injury like this and recovered? What are my chances of ever even lifting my arms pain free again?

I am fucking 23, I am too young for this to ruin my life...

I've started 2-suns 531LP yesterday and can't really figure out what accessories to do. He out "Back" for to Monday and Tuesday. Would it be beneficial at all to do Rows and other back stuff one to consecutive days?

So, Im going into the Airforce soon. Im losing weight rather well and am burning a shit load from atkins and cardio. Still keepin muscle too. So main question is i cant drop below 204 lbs, I can still just lose a certain percentage of body fat right? Im about 26% body fat last I checked but still intend to burn off as much as possible.

Btw Im 6'1" and was around 260 last I checked

Fair enough. Im shooting for less then 10%. Which is proving interesting. I dont so weight lifting but I work at a warehouse of sorts so it builds my legs like a motherfucker. But what rough goal should i shoot for weight wise. 50 to 60 lbs?

Started working out recently. I eat microwaved food a lot. Like every day, at least one meal is microwaved, prepackaged, frozen food. It comes from a really good grocery store and the food has good nutritional values on the label, but it's still microwaved and processed. Not rich and parents are fat fucks and dont know how to cook but I am pretty good at it and can learn new meals. Should I buy fresh food every day and cook it then or buy meat and vegetables frozen? or prepared frozen meals like I already do? What do? Is microwaved food bad to eat?

Buy pork/chicken breast in bulk
Make sure that you get .8 grams of protein per pound of lean body mass and 1 gram of fat per kg of lean body mass
Chicken breast is pretty good with various marinades, although I would make sure that I had a source of fat in any meal where your main source of protein comes from it

I did PPLPPLx on a bulk.

130 reps/week/muscle group (I compared this to a bunch of other routines and this seems typical)

Consumed 1 g protein/1 lb total bodyweight per day. (Mostly as whey)

For 5 months.

And I made zero gains at all (in amounted lifted, lean bodyweight, and physical appearance).

But I got a significant increase in bodyfat.

What do I need to reevaluate?

(For the record: 5'10". Started at ~150 lb. 25 years old)

PPL only works if you eat enough and have a decent amount of strength before yo start it. Like at least 60kg ohp, 90kg bench, 120kg squat, 150kg deadlift.

Kettle bells are to ring for when you want a cup of tea, resistance bands and chains are for her to be tied to the sink.

Kettlebells - good for conditioning (swings, cleans)

resistance bands - good for stretching. If you use them with barbells, you make the lifter harder as the band gets longer. For example, with the bench press, it makes it harder to press off the chest.

Chains - The inverse of bands. They make the lift harder when more chain is off the ground. For example, with chains on a squat, more weight is on the bar as you come up from the hole than when you are at the bottom (because chain piles up on the sides).
