used to be fat as fuck, 5'10" 280 lbs, this is current photo at 162 lbs.
I feel fat as fuck, I feel like I need to keep going. My wife says I am too small and that i have something called body dysmorphia. I am not anorexic because I eat damn near 2500 cals a day and workout 4 hours a day ontop of physical job. Can I get my fitbros and fitbrahs opinions because i dont know what to do or what to think i just stil lfeel so fucking fat.

Can you be flexible and agile being this big? How does being this big affect your cardio? (since you're lugging all that weight in muscles around...but at the same time you're fuarking strong).

Does movement speed (like, a punch or a kick, or movement response) depend on size? Stronger muscles mean faster muscles? Bigger muscles (due to strength training, denser fibers, not larger individual cells). What are the strenghts and weaknesses of being built like this?

Pretty much what ripp says : Its pointless to train specifically for aesthetics because aesthetics is all genetics, and you cannot control how you will look in regards to wanting to look like a typical bodybuilder or whatever. The only thing you can truly control is your strength through proper lifting methods, and your body-fat through diet. You cannot change your unaesthetic shitty genetics into aesthetic genetics.

After hearing this I'm fucking done with my bro-split shit, already wasted enough time doing it getting fucking nowhere with it. After a few years of bro-splitting and getting nowhere it's clear I don't have the genetics to be aesthetic, so I'm just going to focus on total strength, followed up by keeping my body-fat low. Not worrying about doing a ton of useless fucking lifts anymore that don't fucking do anything.

I've been dieting below tdee for 3 weeks now and doing SS at the same time. Since that time I also stopped taking coffee.

Thing is I'm 1lb heavier

what could the problem be? The worst thing is I can notice a liiiitle bit of muscle on my legs but my waist has not shrinked.
If this is water weight should I just wait it out? Is there something wrong? I'm counting my calories so that can't be it
Could it be the caffeine I stopped taking with leaving coffee?

I'm on a 600-700 caloric deficit and I'm a grill btw

I made more gains on a 3x5 strength routine 3 times a week in 1 year, than I have on a high volume + training for pump + tons of isolation's after compounds training 5-6 day/week bro-split for the last 3 years.
I THOUGHT STRENGTH ROUTINES WERE SUPPOSED TO BE THE MEME, NOT BRO SPLITS.


I think I'm just going to go back to training 3 times a week on something like SS again. I just don't see the point in training 5-6 days a week, with high volume, with tons of isolations after the compounds when I don't even get any fucking results doing it.

After doing a few different strength routines in the 1st year I decided to make the switch to bro-style training, and I've done that for the last 3 years. The results are fucking shit. Nothing to show for it. Pretty much look the same as I did after 1 year of strength training, despite the fact I've also got an additional 3 years of bro-style training on me.

So 4 years total, but haven't changed since year 1 (after stopping the strength focused routines to do bro-style training).

Is it just possible that high reps, tons of isolations, and all that fancy bro shit, just simply doesn't work for me?

I'm just sick of wasting my time spinning my wheels training hard as fuck 5-6 days a week getting nowhere. It's legit starting to burn me out by seeing no fucking changes despite training like all the bigboys in my gym train, like compete fucking retards, but they still make gains no problem, doesn't seem to work for me though.
