What plant protein sources do you guys get /fit/? I eat beans occasionally because they take long to cook and oats in the morning and before bed, but the bulk of my meals in the last couple of weeks has been lentils. I'm sick of it and all the fiber makes me fart like a motherfucker. I need an alternate source of plants with good protein. I was thinking split pease since they have more protein until i saw that they have even more fiber.
what plant is easy to store, quick to cook and cheap that i can rely on as a staple?
I eat tofu, lentils, kik-peas, lentils, soy milk, pea powder.. They also make great vegetarian "meat substitutes" in my country from beans, oats etc.
I eat fresh raw beef liver, 2lbs a day. Protein fats it's got it all.

Pretty sure I have a herniated disk or something. My back isn't constantly in pain but it just feel off, like its being held together with tape. I tried going the doctors but they didn't care. Haven't lifted in like 2 years since the incident that caused my back pain. Want to get back into it without risking further damage.
Anyone know any good routines lower back rehab routines or anything? Or good stretch routines. At the moment I'm just doing SL with just the bar because I'm paranoid of hurting myself.

I have a similar situation, did SS/SL about two years ago and had good gains. Then stopped because of change in location and other reasons. My lower back has been mildly hurting in varying situations ever since. Began doing a modified SL about a month and a half ago. I don't squat every session because I remember the lower back pain i used to get from squatting. Personally I think its because I didn't have a strong enough core for the weight I had built up to (lmao2.5plate).
Now I do ab wheel rollouts and planks after every lifting session in slow progression and generally focus on keeping good core posture in everyday situations and it has decreased significantly. Try strengthening your core. Make sure you do back extensions as accessory.

Thanks for the advice. Don't know about doing ab rollouts since I've had pain in the past with that, but planks seem good. And ayy lmao, I tried a 2 plate squat when I was only usually used to doing 1.5 and felt a pain in my back. Also got 1 rep of a 3 plate DL when my regular 1x5 was only 2. Was stupid as fuck and just a lad, but my ego got the best of me.
Is stopping sugar a meme?
My blood glucose levels are normal and I'm not a fatass by any stretch of the imagination. But I do eat a lot of sweets.
Up until a week ago when I stopped completely. But I don't feel any better. If anything I feel worse because I don't really like eating any other kinds of snacks except sweets so, like for example right now I'm feeling pretty hungry.
I really just want to go back to my handy cereals and cookies and snacks that don't spoil and don't require more fridge space and last long and don't rot and taste good.

Your body is adapting to not eating sugar. The stomach pains and intestinal problems are caused by bacteria in your gut that feed on sugar dying off. You feel hungry because like you said, you haven't eaten. If you really want something sweet, just eat some fruit.
