26 year fat here. Thinking about buying some weights and equipment for a smallish home gym. What should i get? How much should i spend?
I'll give you a few options in order of most bang for your buck.
1. Go for a walk/bodyweight exercise, it's free, walking is the best way to get rid of fat for fat fucks wanting to improve.Audiobooks/podcasts recommended
2. A gym membership, it's relativly cheap, its convenient, most bang for your buck while spending money.
3. Home gym, minimum is an adjustable squat rack, a sturdy bench,a 1/2 inch thick rubber matt for deadlifts(so you don't fuck up your floors) an oly bar and plates. Buying dumbbells only is a waste of money and time. Check your local graigslist or similar for costs, buying used plates is okay everything else should be new(people never clean their shit)
jumprope and shadowbox. walk alot. find fun ways like that to get cardio daily.
