I've been lifting for a year now. My fucking strength isn't increasing , I still suck at deadlifting 100lbs. My form sucks. I've started following SL5x5 recently. Any tips?
PS:- Whenever I deadlift , it kills my back and mostly when I'm doing it , it feels in lower back.

the form is probably lacking, a video would be helpful

when I first started, I remember not engaging my legs to the lift. You have to pull with your legs in the beginning, and once you are high enough, you have to use your lowerback like a crane for the final push. Do not round your back, if you do that then you aren't capable of lifting the weight and should probably deload or try again next time.

3x12 Front Squat - 77 lbs
3x12 Stiff-Leg Deadlift - 77 lbs

Tuesday
3x12 Lying Press - 68 lbs
3x12 Bent-Over Rows - 68 lbs

Wednesday
3x12 Military Press - 55 lbs

Thursday

I'd rather prefer do a little exercise every day than just 3 days a week.

Since I can only do morning workouts at home, I wanted to know if you guys have any workouts that I can do with only barbells 5 days a week.

SL or SS. Get a pullup bar and do chinup/pullup progressions on deadlift/OHP days and find somewhere to do dips on bench/row days

What's the best vegetable?

I know, I know "eat all the veggies". But that's bullshit - most vegetables are horribly low in nutrients and mostly water anyway according to sites like nutritiondata.

There's not even a list or something to find out which vegetables are rich in more than one or two micros. It all seems like a big fake shit to me.

No vegetable can compete with, say, eggs or liver when it comes to micros.

Am I right here or am I looking at it wrong? Carrots are basically beta carotine and nothing else, asparagus is more or less pure water, just like cucumbers. Broccoli? Got C and some K, nothing else (raw, mind you, if you cook it, it gets even worse). Spinach, the touted super food, has good K ratings and a bit of A, nothing else.

What the hell, guys. Are veggies even healthy?

Noob lifter here.

I am experiencing discomfort in my upper back / lower neck when squatting. I've tried with and without padding and I am fairly sure my technique is OK.

Are there any other things I can do to remedy the situation? Can I switch squats for leg press?

Are there any over the counter test boosters that actually work? I'm pretty sure that I have low testosterone at this point. I have a hard time getting properly lean even at low body weights with decent diet and exercise, I have awful insomnia issues, I'm depressed, and I'm fairly injury prone. I'm also 22, and none of my doctors will even entertain the notion to the point of getting blood tests, let alone put me on TRT. Is there anything I can do to at least somewhat unfuck my shit that doesn't involve Chinese bathtub chemicals for the next few years until I can legally get on TRT? Pic somewhat related.

Testosterone will not fix your mental health issues if you dont really have low t. Buy a cycle+pct online and you will see for yourself if trt is right for you.

Once you go on it fucking sucks coming off. Really understand that you need to see if you legitimately have low t or are just going through a period of depression and anxiety. Maybe you just have autism and shit diet/training/sleep.

I didnt get bloods before I started pinning and now I dont know if I had low T or was just going through a rough patch for a few years and it would have ended regardless if I pinned or not. I started pinning on my 20th birthday.

Before test I was miserable with zero sex drive and never wanted kids. I planned on killing my self via steroids.

Now after 16 weeks I feel confident as fuck and realized I can do fucking anything. I want to fuck ALL the time. Now I want to get a thicc bitch pregnant and raise a family.

I was already confident and good looking before steroids. I still have thoughts of depression and anxiety, now im just more motivated, sexually charged and respect my self a lot more.

You will look and feel good but it will probably kill you slowly long-term and that will eat at you. I may not ever be able to have kids and have to be stabbed with a needle twice a week for the rest of my life. Consider this.

If I go on TRT I want to do it under the supervision of an actual doctor. I definitely have issues, but I've been eating decently and going to the gym for awhile now. I was just wondering if there is anything that can help me a bit until I hit 30.

Any thoughts or opinions on the Keto diet? I've been doing it for a week now, and I seem to be losing weight.

For those who don't know, the Keto diet is all about reducing your carb and sugar intake and replacing it with fat intake to replace the missing energy. Thus, your body starts producing ketones so you use fat as energy rather than carbs and sugars. The first few days are brutal and you feel like shit because your body isn't used to no carbs, but after that you feel fine.

Hey /fit/, I've recently broken up with my girlfriend and I miss the fuck out of her. It was toxic, and it needed to end, but I'm spiraling into depression. I need to change my life. I've always wanted to get fit, but never do, and I hate myself.
I need motivation. Girls won't do it, as I fucking hate them all right now, they're all cunts to me (right now, at least). I want to do it for me, but I'm a pussy. How do you guys stay motivated. Controlling your diet, your workout, your time. Give me tips. I'm hoping to get into it by fueling the workout with the rage and sadness, but I'll be over her soon (by mentality, or An Hero) and I want to continue after, but how do I stop myself from being lazy.
