Overtraining isn't as easily done as normies would have you believe. It's likely insufficient sleep and/or a diet issue. Are you counting calories and tracking macros?

I habe essentially no equipment other than some shitty 10lb weights. I'm also too shy and broke to go to the gym. Used to be 110lbs, now I'm 115lbs according to scales. Gained five lbs, now I'm worried.

For diet: eat at a caloric deficit and meet your macros, and by that I mean eating the appropriate amount of protein, carbs and fats. This way you will lose more fat than muscle whwn you lose weight.
For training: you can can run, sprint, swim or do cardio if your goal is strictly losing fat. If you care about gaining strength or even a little mass at all, you should do some form of BW training. Invest in a pair of rings. You can get a pair for under $30

Is it fine to work out while your muscles are a bit sore? Everytime I do any lower body training I go ham on the glutes (for the booty gains) but I end up being atleast just a bit sore for up to the next 3 days. Is it fine to workout while sore or is that gonna fuck up my recovery and gains? Could it be I'm not warming up/down well enough and i'm getting acid build up? Should I eat more protein?
I've been working out for roughly 2 months or so, I figured this wouldn't be as severe of a problem anymore.

Honestly I don't, I enjoy the burn since I know that my ass is gonna grow from it and I'm making progress. The issue is that, when I do workout on top of soreness I'll sometimes get even more sore the next day. This makes me worried I'm fucking up.

/fit/ I'm looking for some home workouts I could do that actually help with gains. The gym near my house closed, so I'm looking for home workouts I could to instead of driving across town to the gym everyday.
I have adjustable dumbells, and my apartment is small so I don't have room for a power rack, bench, etc.
Any recommendations on workouts that can still bring gains? Kettlebells, dumbell workouts, anything that doesn't take up a lot of space.

I'll get us started: 21y , Ausfag, 6"0, 94kg/207lb @ 14% BF, ~$85k income + not many living expenses due to my career - life's good
Breakfast ~$4
- 4 egg whites + 2 full eggs @12 for $4,
- 4x fish oil
- 100g spinach
Lunch ~ $5
- 250g grilled chicken/minced beef @$10/kg
- 100g brocolli @$3.50/kg
- 100g brown rice @virtually nothing
Afternoon snack:
- Mini-sandwiches/nuts or sushi from work - free
Post workout shake - $1
- Gold Standard whey + creatine
Dinner: ~$10-15
- 300g steak - I like good steak so will pay up to $40/kg for it on a regular basis
- Steamed Vegetables & Spinach
- Walnuts & or cheese in with the spinach for fat
Grand total
- $20-$25/day to eat pretty fucking well- I do buy things in bulk & then make multiple meals out of it, so that makes it much cheaper
- Save a fair bit of money doing this so can afford to party on weekends

First thing to go on a diet is the tons of poop stored in the intestines and water from the shit tons of salt and carbs you've been stuffing down your gullet.
Usually on a diet you reduce food, sodium and carbs. This leads to a giant dropping of weight very early as the body dumps all the excess water and feces. It should slow down to a healthy 2-3lbs a week and further to 1lb a week.
