>decide to get my life together for once and go on a diet
>eat 1400kcals a day plus cardio 5 days a week
>lose 70 pounds in 6 months, now 150 pounds and at a healthy BMI for the first time in my life
>have more energy, more productive, less stress, better social life, look like a brand new person
>friends, family, and coworkers all tell me I'm way too skinny (despite having a perfectly normal BMI)
>very good friends have become genuinely angry at me, accusing me of starving myself
>almost everyone I know insists that my lifestyle change is unhealthy and concerning

Why do people do this? I'm not even remotely skinny. I just look normal now, for once. At least once a week someone comes up to me and lectures me on how I just got lucky - that I didn't earn it. That I was way healthier in the past. Physically I feel better in every way imaginable, but suddenly people I once thought highly of treat me like an asshole because of my weight loss.

Can anyone relate?

I started adding a handstand progression to my warmup about a year ago. Didn't practice as regularly as I should've, but I can hold one freestanding for >10seconds now.

So basically I was talking to my friend today and he said that he's waiting for his second growth spurt (runs in the family) so I came here to ask if I should expect one too.

Basically, I've been short all my life. I'm Black and 5' 5" so I'm short for America standard. I'm 19 years old, about to turn 20 in August.

My doctor said my growth chart is basically about to level out. I've had one growth spurt so far. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about second growth spurts and if they are rooted in genetics. I would of course love to be taller but I'm not expecting much more(at least 5'8").

Look at the lighting in the two photos you posted. The left has light strategically placed to give his face more dimension. When you look in a mirror, you don't need strategic lighting because you can see all the nuances of the 3D image.

The whole point of a good photo is translating that dimension to a flattened image (photo). Look at the right. His face looks flat, and the lighting is just whatever is coming through the window. He appears to have no chin whatsoever because the dimension is not there.

As a natty, what exercises have you experienced give the most shoulder growth? As we all know the standard Overhead Press alone is not enough to build juicy delts

I've found seated (sm*th machine) behind the neck heavy OHP explodes my shoulders, followed by dropset lateral raises

I firmly believe that shoulders need to be trained frequently for growth. Following a fullbody routine 3 times/wk is simply not enough volume for good shoulder growth

This will add mass to traps, neck and shoulders.

If you're body building, the 3 exercises you should do EVERY TIME YOU ARE ABOUT TO LEAVE THE GYM even just for 3 sets are calf raises, forearm preacher curls and lateral shoulder raises.

These muscle groups can take a beating and make you look more masculine and more well rounded.

Otherwise, carry on with your workouts like you usually do.

it's not that complicated to marinate in a liquid mixture or just apply a dry-rub overnight. cook in pan with oil like you would.

you can brown in a pan on high heat and then finish in the oven if they are thick fillets.
