Hi /ck/ long story short I need some ideas for salmon recipes. I'd prefer to bake it but a stovetop would be fine too. I have almost all day to prepare so time isn't a big issues but it is still there. I'm not a tard either so following directions shouldn't be too hard, it's just I haven't cooked much fish before. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Sometimes I really wonder if we all have pictures of literally everything imaginable on our computers.

My favorite way to cook salmon is in a frying pan. Get your fillet, cut some paralell slits in the skin (this is so that it doesn't curl when you cook it). Cook it skin side down until it's mostly done, then flip and finish the 2nd side. You can tell when the fish is done by looking at the color change.
What do you think they sell at this restaurant, /ck/? Keep in mind that there is no possessive apostrophe, meaning that this is a place for Chads, rather than a place owned by a guy named Chad.
Fuck off.

1. Start with base of bun. Smother in secret sauce.
>>7894083
You've already failed by not toasting the bread, ideally in the drippings left behind from cooking the patty.
>>7894084
I think those buns are toasted
>>7894083
2. Add onion
Hey /ck/, I'm looking for some food that will keep for long periods in variable temperatures with plenty of energy. I'm going to be out away from stuff for most of a day. It should keep at up to 80F for ten hours minimum. If it's damage resistant, so much the better, because it's gonna get shaken around a lot.
Any ideas?
Obviously trail mix and nuts have been considered, and so have various power bars.
thermos of meal shake if you just need calories
Invest in a thermos

How many months after a bottle of olive oil's best by date would you feel comfortable using it in cooking?
It won't make you immediately sick, but rancid oil is very unhealthy for numerous reasons. Just smell it and taste a bit. If it smells and tastes fine, it's fine.
It'll depend on the light/ heat/ oxygen it's been exposed to and use by dates often don't mean shit.
>>7893740
I would completely ignore the date on oil. The only reason why it's there is because ALL foods have those labels now, even things that never go bad, like salt. And now that's got people (like you) convinced that these things go bad even when they don't.
I'd smell the oil, and if it was rancid I'd throw it out. If it wasn't rancid I'd use it.
>>It'll depend on the light/ heat/ oxygen it's been exposed to and use by dates often don't mean shit.
Yep.
>>7893751
Tastes like third press. I wouldn't use it with bread.
/ck/, I want to share with you the food of my people
I am a northern norwegian. Because Norway is such a long, thin country with more mountains than people, the different parts of Norway have been largely isolated from each other throughout the ages, creating dialects so thick that a southern Norwegian has trouble understanding a northern one, etc.
My neck of the woods have this ancient meal called "mosbromlefse", and it's almost symbolic because it is so very, very local.
You begin with making a soft flatbread, which is a dying but respected artform. You then melt brunost (cheese made from whey (goat or cow), very sweet and strongly flavored) with milk and flour, making a very thick and strong "sauce" called mosbrom.
You spread the mosbrom over the flatbread, add syrup, butter and sour cream, and fold it like pic related.
Proper northern norwegians eat it without utensils. it makes a mess.
A PROUD mess.
Do you have any weird, local dishes?
In my country we eat Norwegians

are we served with whey at least
>>7893697
That's called a quesadilla
Can we have a /ck/ humor thread? Haven't seen one in a while.
Yeah titel says it all. Got this as a present and nobody knows what it is.
The writing is korean but other then that I have no clue. Not one English word.
It would be cool, if someone knows what it is and for what dishes I can use it.
>>7893434
Bust it open and taste it, then use with whatever you think it would taste good with
Open it up and put it in a bowl with rice like the can shows you. Looks like beef in a hot pepper sauce?
Picked up a bag of these bitches earlier. What can I do with them?
>>7893408
Boil em mash em stick em in a stew

What's your favorite candy bar /ck/?
coffee crisp, twix, kit kat, kinder bueno, mr big, oh henry
any of those would be fine. i dont have a strong enough relationship with candy to have a definitive favourite.
BIG
The eternal question.
How do you eat this ridiculous food?
I don't understand why penne haven't replaced spaghetti completely. Flour is flour.
You twirl it. Penne is well-known as the second-worst-tasting pasta after fettucini.
>not understanding how to choose the correct pasta for your sauce
Penne is for bolognese and other sauces full of chunky delicious bits that can get inside.
Spaghetti is for a plain napoli sauce or something else that will cling to it.
OP is for sucking cocks.
>>7893188
I have tried chunky sauce with delicious bits with both penne and spaghetti and I still prefer spaghetti. The texture of a big mouthful of spaghetti is superior.
One or two pieces of penne is better than a reasonable bit of spaghetti. But I am not reasonable.
Any White Castle fans on /ck/??.
>>7893163
No, fuck off
Went to take a piss there once, nothing to write home about...
>>7893166
