How have your experiences been with college food? Going to be eating in pic related this fall and I wanted to know how other places compare.
Also college food general discussion thread
Honestly, why wouldn't you just cook your own meals?
Are you going to one of those cucked unis where they force you to pay for meals at their cafeteria along with room and board?
its shit cafeteria food like the name implies u fucking underage fgt
>>7899529
Do you have low standards? If so you can eat there all year if you're living in the dorms. It will be just good enough to get by.
Kitchens used by a large amount of people suck and you may not feel motivated to cook, but remember that simple staples like pasta, potatoes, meats are cheap and filling too.
So, would you buy Toast for $4.00 ?

>SF
of course
>>7897573
Well if I get a slice for 4 bucks or a whole loaf of the same bread for 6 bucks at the same store, i'd probably just grab the loaf.
4 bucks aint shit, if its good its good, it'd be a nice change from eating a 4 dollar slice of pizza.
>hipsters overpaying for sliced toast
Other than hipsters being dumb, I don't see anything wrong.
What fruit you like best? For me it is the peach

My friends and I, along with >>7889785
, have been discussing the technical definition for what makes something a sandwich for a while, and I'm curious to what /ck/ thinks of it, and how it can be improved:
>Must be vast majority safe to be eaten and intended for consumption, AND be intended to be eaten in a way that fulfills the rest of this definition of a sandwich
>Must be either between two slices of bread or, barring that, a comparable substitute, or on top of a single piece of bread or an even closer substitute
A comparable substitute meaning either two slices of something that's a facsimile to bread, or two separate pieces parts of the same piece of bread facsimile.
The "single piece of bread" portion is just to address "open faced sandwiches," it can be safely ignored for the purposes of this discussion.

I am the keeper of the sandwich. Feel free to post any food and I will tell you if it is a sandwich or not.
Frankly, it's mostly common sense. There's not many things that I would be on the fence about it being a sandwich.
What potentially controversial examples do you have?
>>7902370
Well, under this current definition pies could be considered sandwiches, as the pie crust could be one facsimile for bread and the top part could be another. Do I think pies are sandwiches? No, not necessarily, but under the given definition it counts, which is why I ask for /ck/'s opinion. Someone brought up in the other thread the fact that certain things don't count because the dough starts out unbaked (i.e. calzones, but those are discounted on other points as well) while bread is already baked for a sandwich.
>>7902384
A pie is not a sandwich.
However, if you manager to pick up two portions of the pie crust with some of the pie filling and hold it all in your hand and then eat it, you could say you're having a pie sandwich at that point.
Also, if you put the pie between two hookers, you could say you're eating pie from a hooker sandwich.
A pie is not a sandwich though.
What is your favourite supermarket /ck/?
Personally I like Sainsbury's, I think the meat quality is good and it's not too expensive. When I get the opportunity I stock up at Lidl but the range of branded goods there is terrible.

>>7888928
Except it tastes like shit is actually worse for you than regular. Try again faggot. Only reason to drink it is if you're diabetic, even then it's retarded.
>>7888928

No there isn't.
But I'll keep drinking my regular soda anyway.
Why would people eat such such a disgusting greasy pizza like this. Chicago pizza is more than just nasty and overrated. It is american degeneracy at its best.

Just buy the plain one and add your own flavours with strawberry jam or whatever.
By the way, Fage is considered shit-tier in Greece. Can you get Olympos or any other Greek brands?
>>7898520

I hear everyone talk about Chicago style, and New York style pizza. Yet I haven't heard /ck/'s thoughts on Detroit style deep dish pizza. What are your thoughts and did you enjoy?
>>7897201
