What is the most unhealthy food you have ever cooked and eaten?
I singed my fingers once then licked it to numb the pain... Tastes like oily bitter fried pork skins.
Hot dog quesadilla.
Tortilla in pan, let cheese melt, put a heated beef Frank on the cheese, roll it, crisp on both sides of caloric depravity.
I put in two and call it a double barrel.
I used to be quite a fatass.

Half pound of bacon, an onion and a green pepper sauteed and thrown on a totinos party pizza.. A small one.. And I fried the whole bastard in butter.
It was rough to eat.
ITT: We post meme spices that add """"""flavor""""""" but in reality don't do shit
>pic related. It's paprika

Mate

If you think paprika doesn't add any flavor, stop using shit quality old stale paprika.
what do rich people eat in a day?
Whatever the fuck they want or if preparing for a specific role whatever the fuck their personal trainer and dietitian tell them to eat.
saffron shaped to resemble other foods

For dinner, typically overpriced steaks and pasta dishes.
For lunch, expensive burgers or sandwiches. Or they'll visit one of those health food joints that have popped up everywhere for "street tacos", wraps, crudite, that type of stuff.
Either no breakfast or a scone with their coffee.
This is at least how rich people dine in America

Why do people like sweet sauce with chicken? Its not bad, but its like melting a candy and pouring it all over the chicken... whod come up with that.
Shit that tastes good but that is objectively strange/senseless thread.
Kinda funny, because without the sauce you just have chicken nuggets made with real meat. I actually used to make it and the sauces.
>>7895255
Meat + sweet = good!
It's a fine line and if you cross it the meal is ruined, but a little sweet and sour makes meat really stand out and shine. Ketchup is just sugar and vinegar. Half the Asian meat sauces are mildly sweet. Have you ever tried mango chutney with your chicken? Cranberry jelly goes on turkey roast. It really isn't a stretch.
You just overdid it. Use less sauce. Don't pour it over your chicken but dip your chicken in it for more flavor control.
>>7895255
>whod come up with that
filthy korea
Name five foodstuffs (not specific dishes, in general) that are a staple of your diet.
Not necessary your favorites, just the ones that you can't imagine your day going without, like oats, bread, milk, chicken etc.
Carrots
Celery
Bagel
Beer
Coffee
Everything else in the day is negotiable.
Chicken
Fish
Breadfruit
Tomato
Beer

For the record. I am not the biggest fan of chicken. It is just literally the cheapest food item outside of rice and flour
Rate my Lasagna. Pro tip, it's better than yours.

Why does Japan get to have so many KitKat flavors?
I just want to have green tea KitKats and try the other flavors without having to pay so much for imports.
>>7886640
You kind find most Kit Flavors at medium to large sized Asian grocery stores. I found these at one in Alhambra, CA.
FYI, they tasted just like the regular ones...
They're considered good luck for some reason. People eat them before taking tests etc.

How do you feel about GMOs, /ck/?
>le posting random screencaps of people being wrong justifies corrupt corporations bribing the FDA to adjust their standards of qualitly control and monopolizing agricultural industries maymay
The idea is sound. The execution thus far has been horrendous however.

Retards have no idea what they or how they work so their first reaction is to oppose them. They're perfectly safe, overwhelmingly considered as such by actual scientific organizations whereas opposition is all bullshit like Naturalnews and the only legitimate concern (GM crops spreading into the wild) could have been stopped but the technology was ironically shut down by anti-GMO propaganda.
My wife was thrown from a horse and suffered what her doctors called "minor but significant enough brain trauma". After rehab she went back to normal, or so I thought...
She started developing tastes for typical neckbeard foods ie: canned soup, dry ramen, microwave dinners, spaghettio's etc etc etc.
From there it transformed into foods needing to be the same uniform shape, then color, then devoid of any seasoning at all. Now she won't touch vegetables unless they're cooked to mush.
I'm not a Michelin Chef, but have professionally cooked for my entire career. Having to prepare food like this is soul crushing. I'm seriously considering divorce over this.
Anyone here live with or have autistic eating habits like this?
>>7891920
Bump
Have you tried beating her?
>>7891920
send her to therapy OP, just a few sessions could really help and work it out. theres a tlc show called 'freaky eaters' and those people tend to be autistic or insane and therapy helps some of them, if it isnt faked.
I work at an Asian grocery store, AMA

I always see them little hanging birds, but I don't know if they're good, fresh, expensive or cheap, etc. Do you sell many of those, and what do you think of them?
why do you guys hate customers who don't speak your language? there's a korean meat shop that does this near where i live
/ck/, where do you live and how's your tap water over there?
Do you use a filter out of principle or is the quality of your water really that bad?
Let's talk about the crack of liquids.
>>7891271
Sydney and no filters cause it's totally fine. I'm shocked that the US has terrible tasting water when I visited
Drink nothing but tap water, the occasional bubbly water, and alcohol. The tap water isn't terrible, but using a Brita filter makes it taste better.
