could You imagine in the not so far away future.
Eating: crickets,ants, various critters, ,
I'd prefer invitro human flesh, honestly.
We already eat shrimp, it's not too different
>>7896390
that'd be a step backwards anon, we used to eat that shit in the long ago and far away, when food scarcity was common and you ate whatever you could get your hands on. the ability to be picky is a luxury, let's not forgo it
Will the best Blue Bell flavor ever return to stores?

Hello /ck/ I need advice.
What are some easy dishes I could make with minced beef? Nothing over the top I just need something not too time consuming, usually just end up making Chili and a side of rice / pasta to go with it.
Sometimes i'll make some burgers out of it but i feel like i could do more than just these 2, what do you guys think? I don't have access to a lot of ingredients but I'll attempt to try most of the recipes you guys give
>>7896323
You can make a cool hairstyle, I guess.
>>7896323
>>nothing too time consuming
>>makes chili
Meatballs?
Burrito filling?
OK /ck/, age old question.
Do you store your sauce/ketchup/katsup in the fridge or pantry?
Personally I'm fridge and I think pantryfags have a screw loose
"refrigerate after opening"
</thread>
Pantry. Who the fuck wants cold ketchup on their hot food?

That's a fine looking Chicago Pizza OP ;)
Quiz time /ck/!
What dish do some people allegedly put kiwi in?
(hint: it's an abomination)
pavlova?
Hmm, what dish could benefit from kiwi, but alternatively okra, or tofu?
>>7896239
Nope, putting fruit with desert makes too much sense.
meatloaf?
is it ever a good idea to pierce meat with rosemary?
on one hand, it seems it might help the other spices penetrate the meat, but on the other it might let all the juices flow out
>>7896220
meat is not a balloon. it is more like a sponge. puncture a sponge and it does not dry out instantly.
It should be fine. Meat dries out when cooked too long, not because it's been pierced.
>>7896220
Do kebabs or bacon wrapped items dry out from being pierced man?
I have a date tomorrow and need a good idea for a dinner to make. I have to work all day though so it needs to be something I can do in a crock pot. What would you guys suggest?
The alternative is ordering chinese, but it's our second date and I want to impress her.
Pretzels

So, I've got some chili and tortilla shells that need to be used soon.
Do chili, mac & cheese quesadillas sound utterly disgusting?
I'm getting the urge to experiment.
Yes, it sounds disgusting and I hate you.
>>7896066
>3DPD women
Disgust. You know they smell.
>>7896066
tortilla shells?
Why do they call this the cooking board??? Sure all the threads are about food, but very few are actually about cooking. Why not have a separate board for fast food/cured may/tendie discussions and one for people who actually cook their own food???
>>7895830
Just like the sticky, it will never happen.
How about you post a cooking thread then you dense bitch
>>7895841
There is no sticky, retard

Why do some of you poor fags avoid buying premium ice cream? Is it because you can get a gallon of crap ice cream made with whey solids for the price of a premium pint?
Nigglets, premium stuff is worth it weight in gold.
>Haagen Dazs
>not premium
>>7895728
It's not healthy.
I don't often put that much thought into buying ice cream, the one or two times a year I do it. I can see why a fat shit like you would have strong opinions about it though
If you could live on a single food item what would it be? and where?
for me pic related. i would go live in a tropical forest and eat it everyday.
I'd live in Hawaii and eat sushi every day.
It's the only state in the US that doesn't require fish to be frozen before being served, so you can get inexpensive raw fish that was caught just a few hours earlier, and there are a shit ton of Japanese who know what to do with it.
>>7895554
I hope you have a good toilet then
>>7895554
You're not going to get a lot of melons grown in a tropical forest. There might be enough water (if you're careful enough to create proper irrigation), but they need a lot more light to create all those simple sugars in the flesh than you're going to get under forest canopy.
>>7895565
Enjoy your parasites. Also enjoy the expense of moving to Hawaii just in time for the state to adopt the FDA guidelines on serving raw or undercooked fish dishes.
what do you put in your beef stew?
Beef
>>7895425
water
Barley, potato, carrot, rutabaga
Are they safe?
I miss Banana pudding
>>7895372
They were pretty much safe before unless you were some nursing home dweller.
>>7895372
likely are, theyve come out with a new flavor too
They haven't come back to Vegas just yet... one day...
What do with seltzer water?
It's literally carbonated water, you can drink it or you can mix it with other things to make them watered down and fizzy
>>7895336
it's the secret to the fluffiest pancakes ever
>>7895363
this, a friend of mine used to mix seltzer water with juice concentrate to make soft drinks. wasn't epic but wasn't too bad. still full of sugar of course, but at least you had some hope of getting a vitamin or two in it, so there's that.
>>7895374
I need to try this. I wrote a good (I think) whole wheat pancake recipe some years ago, and they make good thick pancakes but of course they are fairly dense from the bran.
