What are some delicious game night recipes I can fix for my bf?
It's really weird that you do this shitposting over multiple boards. Are you a robot who's really hurt, or some kind of strange troll?
Here's your (you), freak.

Fried pork chops. Easy and fast, lots of flavor, lots of protein. Serve with rice. Bonus points for making a kind of sauce with cream of mushroom soup. Throw some green beans on the plate for bonus points. If you can find time to make yeast dinner rolls from scratch, you are a goddess and he will propose on the spot. Plus a homemade apple or cherry pie for dessert. And a blowjob.

This image makes me sad.
I saw a piece of corned beef on sale at the supermarket and impulse bought it. I've only ever had the tinned stuff so I'm mildly curious about the differences between them.
Some googling suggests that it should be braised for a couple of hours, allowed to cool before slicing, and served with random veg. I figure I have enough for at least two portions, so I might try a corned beef hash as well - how do you guys like your corned beef?

Another one of these threads,
I'm a college student that needs some cheap recipes to make for my boyfriend that's coming up in a week. The less ingredients, and the cheaper, the better. I have to walk two miles to the grocery store so I can't carry much back. I still want to impress him though. He likes korean food, and also simple food. He's staying for a week, so I need ideas for breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc. We'll be ordering pizza at least one night, and going out for dinner I'm gonna assume around 3 nights.
Here's what I have right now:
>Chicken breasts
>Eggs
>Ramen
>Bread loaf
>Cheese
>Peanut butter
>Cans of corn and beans
>Spaghetti noodles and sauce
>Four rolls of ground beef
>Cheese slices
>Rice
>Sweet potatoes
>Regular potatoes
>pancake mix
>maple syrup
>tons of creams of chicken, celery, mushroom
>Tons of varieties of sauces and spices
>Butter and vegetable oil
What I've thought of so far is a "fancy" ramen, croquettes, spaghetti and meatballs, grilled cheese, eggs and toast, french toast, pancakes, teryaki chicken, curry and rice, peanut butter chicken, and eventually I'll get shit for nachos and burgers because we both really love nachos and burgers.
Any more things I can make with the stuff I have? I'm a pretty decent cook, so there's no need to worry about "difficult" recipes.
Thanks inb4 to anyone that helps! Pic semi-related.
Post feet you insufferable roastie.
Here's a recipe I came up. It's called the "Double triple bossy deluxe, 4x4 animal style, extra shingles with a shimmy and a squeeze, light axle grease, make it cry, burn it, and let it swim"
Fills you up quickly.

>We were looking for the best way to end animal suffering, but also be realistic about meat eating habits. Together with Prof. Yaakov Nahmias, an award winning biomedical engineer at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, we've been developing a system for producing cultured meat. That means growing REAL meat, non GMO and without antibiotics in machines in supermarkets and communities all over the world.

What if we give the animals an anaesthetic and surgically remove a few limbs for our consumption but keep the animal alive?

Can someone direct me to a rice noodle recipe that will turn out like what you get in an all you can eat buffet? Every recipe I've tried turned out nowhere near right. Each one has called for a sauce that ends up being the only flavor in the dish or gourmet bullshit I didn't ask for.
Every restaurant I go to has the exact same rice noodle dish but the entire internet seems to be completely ignorant about whats in it. I can't even find an appropriate picture. How can they all have the same dish but the recipe be impossible to find?
So tired of trying to find traditional recipes only to find nothing but a flood of recipes hipster 'chefs' put their stink on.
You talking about those clear noodle soups at the back of the buffets with all those meatballs and whatever topping?
Pretty sure the soup is just a basic chicken stock brah
>>7950159
No, it's like stir fried rice but with cabbage, celery, onions, carrots, fried egg, and sometimes chicken in the nicer places. I cant find what seasoning or sauce I'm supposed to add to it.
Tonight's attempt at making it was yet another disaster which is why I'm here. I'd have been better off skipping cooking it and just taking a swig out of the soy sauce bottle.
Gimme one damn reason that jack n the crack tacos arent the best fast food deal there is
>>7950148
Burger kings always tastes better for some reason. But I agree OP 2 tacos for 99c. Dip them in ranch hnnnnng
The problem I have with their tacos is that I would have to spend the amount I would down at any other fast food place to get full even with how cheap they are
I could eat two tacos at Taco Bell and be full but with these I have to eat like 6. Their jalapeño poppers and egg rolls are fucking awesome though

>using ranch ever

How to chicken thigh?
So, I was attempting to just pan fry some chicken thighs to put in some pasta, but when they were done they were simply too fatty and unpleasant to chew. I was trying this just because they are about a buck cheaper per pound than breasts, even though I can cook a breast perfectly just about every time.
This being said, I always prefer chicken thighs when they are braised over a long period of time or thrown in a slow cooker for a few hours. They are superior to breasts for stuff like this.
But, is there a different way to pan fry them? Am I doing something wrong?

cut them up (better) and remove or ignore the shitty bits
This is a pretty good recipe for chicken thighs

A good vintage Big Foot aged a year or two.
I don't eat that part
Either one. It's more about the brew than its container. Technically, cans are a better method, but I'm not going bitch either way.
OK, /ck/ explain:
sometimes when I cook zucchini it gets totally bitter and tastes awful. Sometimes it does not. The effect doesn't seem to be dependant on freshness, certain type, etc. In fact I can't seem to find any rule for this.
pic related, I just got me some cool zucchinis and I fucking don't want the fuckers to turn bitter
don't burn them then
>>7949874
I don't. I only simmer them. See, the thing is that many zucchinis don't get bitter from exactly fucking same treatment.
>>7949867
nothing you can do - it's a chemical that the fruit produces in response to environmental stresses.
Don't eat bitter courgettes, they can make you sick. Same goes for anything else in that family of fruits, like cucumbers and squashes.
