I'm thinking about getting a hissing cockroach as a pet. Anything I should be aware of?
they hiss.
they are cockroaches

Fuck you--I came here to say this. Stay out of my territory! Reeeee
My mother hates magpies for stupid reasons and I want to protect them.
She got a big trap off my uncle, it is shaped like a hexagon and has multiple cells.
There is a middle cell where you put a live Magpie in preferably a strange one and keep alive.
The others will go into the other cells to either help or kill the middle magpie, those magpies get their neck broken.
I want to keep them out of the trap but I cannot sabotage make it seem I am letting them out.
Is there anything I can leave in the trap to prevent them from entering what so ever?
Something sneaky like some food they won't eat or something smelly I can spray?
I understood her killing the crows even though I am against it, they were keeping her wake when she was on night shift but the Magpies are doing nothing wrong.
It is just old age meme hatred and superstition.
TDLR: How do stop Magpies from entering a trap and getting murdered.
By removing the trap.
Presumably you live with your mother, which means you are a child and should live by her rules while you're under her roof.
They are a pest to many, she's doing nothing wrong.
Don't go for that liberal arts degree, start lifting, get a job, move out.

I don't live with my mother, I have a job and my own place.
Magpies did nothing wrong besides being cute, they slide down the shed roof for fun.
How do I teach my 7 months old female cat that that places like the dinning table are off limits?
Squirt gun
get a bunch of soda cans and put a few pennies in them. attach them all together with a tangle of string and leave them where you don't want her to go. She'll do it one time.
>>2171131
But don't cats like rattling sounds?
What are the best dog breeds?
>>2170424
The ones in the shepherding group, honestly. That or the spaniel family is pretty solid.
>>2170429
This
Or the smaller version.
In this thread you post animals fighting.
>>2168258
Lame fight. They put the spider at a crazy disadvantage.
Have any of you guys obtained a crow friend? If so, how? None of the guides I get on google work.
The fuck are crow guides?
1. Yell
2. Throw food
4. Stand around
5. Repeat
6. Crows
>>2165195
If it was that simple I think I'd have one by now.
>>2165198
It is, you're either impatient or a horrible fuckup
Post your rats and rat-related questions. Mice and other small rodents are welcome too.
So would a rat love me like no one in my life ever has? I have hamsters but they dont do much with me
>>2154069
Rats are much more affectionate and intelligent pets than hamsters, so I'd say probably. I get as muh love from my rats as I figure I would from a dog. They come when I call, like to groom my fingers and crawl in my shirt, always run up to me to be cuddled.
The things I would do to work here...
They don't accept interns or volunteers. How do you think I could get myself into this line of work?

>>2177429

One of my dogs is a hound mix. I love the hound in his personality. They are fun doggos.

Pick one

I choose both, fuck your rules establishment.
Hey /an/
You heard of Cat busters?
They are a fucked ground of people in Australia who go around killing pet cats, their excuse is 'the cats are messing with the ecosystem!'
Fucking bullshit
Someone please go and murder every single last fuck who does this crap.
God. So sick of people like this!
I could understand putting down strays, but targeting someone's pet is just low. I hate spiders, but you don't see me stomping pet turantulas.
I know a lot of people consider cats pests or what not, but fuck. Rats are considered pests to some people and pets to others.
Strays are ok to put down, but no pet snatching!
>>2177278
>targeting someone's pet
Looks like they just target whatever cats are out at night from the google search I did because OP didn't bother to post a link.
Cats do fuck up a lot of species but if they catch a pet the owner should be fined and those proceeds put towards conservation instead of summary execution.
Doesn't Australia have more pressing problems with dogs, rabbits and frogs in regard to their ecosystem?
Can you guys please tell me the name of this?

I really need a serious reply, that was funny but 2 things like that are around my house
Does anyone keep bees as a hobby? I am thinking about taking it up. Is it too late in the season to start? I know a place where I can buy a beginner hive with a queen and about 50 bees
>>2177023
>Is it too late in the season to start?
Yes, they will not be able to prepare for winter unless you live someplace where winter is very warm.
> I know a place where I can buy a beginner hive with a queen and about 50 bees
What country are you in? Also that's not nearly enough bees. A standard package is 3lbs of bees.

>What country are you in? Also that's not nearly enough bees. A standard package is 3lbs of bees.
I'm in southern Ontario, Canada. This kit is pretty cheap, only $150 too. Maybe I'll prepare this winter and have a proper set up for the spring
>>2177034
If you have basic carpentry skills you can build your own boxes for very little money.
Best bet for finding bees is to look for someone selling nucs locally next spring.
My pupper is finally in his resting place, /an/.
He was a distemper survivor with 4 limb paralysis who got back 3 of his legs and was halfway his therapy to completely restore his fourth leg and was already walking and being like he was before.
Unfortunately an unknown infection/sickness which we could never diagnose (It was that fast) he died last Sunday.
He was a tough pupper, he did not get euthanized, and he did not die suffering, he went away while sleeping and with his whole family around him.
Why no euthanasia? We knew Sunday was the day, we just knew, he wasn't even trying to eat, walk or react much to affection, we were calling vet clinics all over my state in Mexico and nobody would come to my place to put him to sleep, they all wanted us to take him to a clinic and would not allow us to see him while being put down.
We finally found one who was willing to come but late at night so we made him as comfy as possible, we sang to him, pet him but suddenly we knew he had come to his own terms and just started fading away.
He was a beautiful pupper and he taught us a lot. I wish I hadn't learned so many hard lessons from him, but I know there was a reason behind this. I find a lot of comfort in knowing he went away happily and so calmly.
I wanted to share this with you /an/ I haven't talked to a lot of people about my loss. Please feel free to share your thoughts, personal experiences.. etc..
He had a good dogy life thanks to you op. Glad to hear he didnt suffer
Any idea what kind of spiderbro this is? I'm in CT.
Take it to a vet
>>2176877
I don't think he'd like that.
It's a mutt.
