can someone explain op's pic to me. is it real if so how did this happen
My dog just found this baby birdo under the porch. Is there any way to help it?
He does NOT look happy
He's FUCKEN PISSED
>>2173000
either look for the nest or try if he has a feeding response
But usually the ones that drop out of the nest broke something because of the impact and die anyway
Last night i was kept awake till daan by these cunts, every time i almost slipped away, a fucking mosquito decided to pay a visit to my ear to remind me that i should be awake. How do i make sure they won't come back in? I have emptied out any pot or Bucket of water that might serve as a breeding ground for these bloodsucking cunts in my backyard, and i have made a bottle trap, does anyone know what else i can do to minimalise the mosquitocount in my room? Also, some tips on what to bait my trap with would be apreciated, i was thinking of as wrath piece of cloth like a sock or something, they always seem attracted my the smell of sweat. Thanks in regards

Electric zapper, flashlight, bright colored walls and ceiling.
Also just spray some insecticide on your windows and doors.
sleep in your bottle trap
just smoke, they hate smokers
I'm torn between a guinea pig and a snake for my first real pet. I don't want to get both for obvious reasons.
Snake
Pros:
>Cool bodies
>Probably fun to touch and hold
>Fun to watch them climb up walls
>Only have to feed it once a week or two
Cons:
>Weird looking poops
>Stinky
>Maybe it will scare people
Guinea Pig
Pros:
>Cute
>They make neat noises
>Soft
>I can kiss them
Cons:
>Stinky
>Eat often
Help me. Which one requires more effort? Which one will cost more to keep?
>>2172643
what kind of snake have you considered to get as pet?
>>2172644
Ball python because they're cute or a California kingsnake since they're really common here.
>>2172643
A guinea pig is a lot higher maintenance imo
and they can be loud you might get sick of hose cute noises

An please help. I'm a first time dog owner, I have a puppy who is jus over 4 months old. He is about 30 pounds and VERY aggressive when he plays. He barks and growl and bites my feet and hands. I try yelping, moving them away, and running away, and not acting, but he just keeps biting hard, like it's a very animal. I try telling him to sit, or throwing a toy, but it doesn't take long until he is back at it. Please please help.
>pic related, his handiwork.
>>2172541
Give him a toy to chew and when he averts his attention, reward him
Unfortunately this is just part of raising a puppy. I spent a few weeks with scratches and bite marks too. Try yelping like a hurt dog would so your pup recognizes that he's biting too hard. If he continues, calmly get up and leave the room for 30 seconds or so - this will teach him that when he plays roughly, the play ends completely.
I'd also suggest looking into puppy classes? That way he can learn directly from other young dogs how tl play properly.
>>2172542
Okay, how about when he bites my hand as I reach for the toy?
>>2172546
Thank goodness he'll calm down. He has been in puppy classes (I go with him), for a month or more now. He is one of the most rowdy pups in the class. I'll try leaving when he bites too hard, since I try to yelp like a puppy and he just doesn't listen to it.
Would it be theoretically possible to breed a chicken with dinosaur like feet?
>>2172483
Foot fags gtfo
Isn't that what Horner and his team are trying to do, OP? Chickens with tails and teeth and such?
>>2172495
He is trying to do that with GMO technology. I'm asking if you could selectively breed a chicken with dinosaur feet.
I'm trying to write a book plot and the main character is a fox,i want it to be the rarest fox.Does anyone know what's the rarest type of fox is?
Island gray fox
Sierra red fox
Sparkle fox

Grey Fox
found this little fucker on my bed this morning. Now, I'm not afraid of many things but scorpions do scare the shit out of me ever since I saw a friend get stung when I was a kid.
Got rid of this one but could there be another one near? Do scorpions hand around in groups?
This is the first time I find a scorpion in my bedroom.
Scorpions are very social animals, living in vast colonies of up to a thousand.
They travel in groups called "Excursions" when looking for new places to call home and often leave one or two behind at prospective locations to check the place out in-depth and inform the rest on their way back.
If I were you i'd move out now, before it's too late.
>>2172172
But if OP find all the scout scorpions, kill and mangle them, and display them where other scorpions can see, they will find that it is not a suitable home and move on.
>>2171974
>Got rid of this one but could there be another one near? Do scorpions hand around in groups?
Typically for every one scorpion you find, there are at least a couple dozen more within 10-20 feet of the location you found the scorpion in.
After they've laid down their pheromone trail, more scorpions will continue to gather in the area and lay down more pheromone trails for more scorpions to follow.
this is my dog
his name is dolly
he also loves eating everything
What The Fuck?? That's the most beautiful dog I have ever seen.. Why does it look like a raccoon? What breed is this?
Looks like a tanuki.
GSDs in the show ring are not deformed.
In conformation shows, where they show off a dog asthetically, it's not really what it seems.
As someone who is training their dog and preparing them for this (not a GSD, I'm just tired of people saying this about them and dog shows in general). I want to clarify a few things.
Conformation Shows are basically a way to test if the dog will be a good breeder.
They check teeth, under/over bite = disqualification
Check Spine (lumpy vertebrae are a sign of inbreeding)
You have to pose/stack each breed a certain way to make sure there aren't any imperfections. Most are stacked with shoulders and ankles straight to make sure to spine is aligned correctly.
Out of speculation, I believe GSDs are stacked in such a way to check their hips.
Here is a video to show you some GSDs in the ring:

>>2171946
So what you say is, that these dogs only assume this position to show off their build, like bodybuilders do on stage, but revert back to a normal walk as soon as the show is over?
Didn't know that. Quite insightful.
In the upper picture you can that the back is not that low and it is able to stand normally
but you can also see a falling/lowering croup which the gsd did not use to have and was bred this way
In Germany breeders try to get away from it again because it fucked up the hips
>>2171960
It's the same dog, dingus
it's supposed to go up to 32c/89f today
if i put my bed bug infested chair in the car will they die?
>>2171900
If in the sun, your car's internal temps can get to and stay at 120℉, possibly. Frankly, I wouldn't want to risk them getting into my car.
You could possibly try covering your chair in black garbage bags, sealing it as tight as you can, and leaving it in your driveway where it will be in full sun (though that's no guarantee, either) so that your car at least doean't harbor anything unexpected.
really need to keep the chair?
you could burn the chair.
actually, wait. Would I burn my chair?
yah, I'd burn the chair.
Kek
>His outside normal temperature doesn't reach 110°F
I can cook eggs using only sunlight. Trust at your temps that would be really risky probably won't do anything.
