Depends on what kind.
Went spider hunting today, I'm catching jumping spiders.
I'll post some of my findings.
>>2174005
This is some kind of crab spider, I think.
>>2174012
This is the female of that crab spider, couldn't get a better picture, I'm using the phone.
I'm buying a Goliathus or a Dynastes Hercules beetle soon, probably a pair. Is there something I should really really be aware of?
I have a massive terrarium so the space is not a problem at all...
>>2173633
Don't even bother with buying a single beetle; you should definitely get a pair. They don't live very long (2-5 months) and you never know how old they are when you buy adult beetles.
Dynastes and Goliathus both need at least 6 inches of substrate if not more in order to hide and lay eggs.
Goliath beetles are active during the day so a light source might be a good idea while Hercules beetles and other Dynastinae are mostly active in the late afternoon and at night.
Give them some thick branches/sticks to climb on and put some moss and dry leaves on the surface of the substrate; otherwise don't even try to decorate the terrarium - they might turn everything upside down while digging and crawling around.
Feed them mango and banana; Beetle Jelly is also fine but the beetles I've kept so far ignored the jelly and went straight for the fruits.
If you plan to breed them (pretty much the only reason to even bother with short-lived beetles) expect to take care of the larvae for 2-3 years depending on circumstances such as temperature, quality of substrate, humidity and larvae density in a single box until the beetles hatch.
Just be warned, beetles have a pretty short lifespan.
If you're wanting something with more longevity, I'd recommend a cockroach or a spider.

Tldr:
A child gets his fingers nibbed by a wolf in a zoo. Mother demands to kill the wolf to check for rabies even if she knew the wolf had all his medical shots taken.
It happened again.
What would you do as a mom, knowing that the wolf had his rabied shots taken?
i wouldn't want the wolf to be killed but it's ultimately the responsibility of the zoo to ensure that 4 year old fingers can't reach the animals
>>2172164
that can't be true
if it were my child, I would trust the staff's word that it had all the shots
I would NEVER demand to kill an animal, just because my child did something stupid, which I most likely could have prevented
the mother is just a stupid bitch in my opinion
Justice for wolf. When will all these innocent animals being killed demand justice. #animallivesmatter

Why do they( and fox too) look like dogs but bigger?
Earthworms are mammals.
For one thing, their skin is the same color as Caucasian human skin.
Secondly, they have veins under their skin that looks blue, just like humans' veins do. No other insects have such blood vessels, because Earthworms are not actually insects.
Thirdly, earthworms are warm blooded, just like all other mammals.

summary:
>they look a bit like human skin

That's it
You're a dumbass
>>2170464
Worms definitely do not have mammary glands or hair two common traits of mammals.
Fyi they aren't insects either
>>2170475
Theyre arthropods right?
I'll go grab the popcorn while you piss yourselves

Seems pretty accurate to me. I thought the whole "some dinos had feathers" thing would be old news by now.
>>2166908
That's actually pretty cool.
>>2166908
It says speculative feathers inferred by phylogenetic bracketing. It doesn't say t rex definitely has feathers, so people shouldn't be triggered by this.
Also, this is the Anzu from saurian, looks like they're using Bustard proportions in sexual dimorphism.

Some of the white fur on my dog has gotten dingy and none of the shampoos or soaps I have tried will clean it. I even added a couple of caps of bleach in bath
How to clean white fur?

Are you fucking stupid?
Stop putting chemicals on your dog, retard, and brush him.
He's severely allergic to the garbage you're squirting on him. Enjoy torturing your dog.
One day animal cruelty guidelines will put stupid fucking owners like you in jail for perfuming your dog.

Do you not wash your fucking pets? Im just looking for a quality dog shampoo

Get a fucking whitening porphyria breed spray you massive fuck. Shi-tzus, poodles and bischons have specialty sprays that whiten the fur.
And no, they don't work from what I'm told.

what type of mushroom was this? is it okay to have by itself? Also, I need to change substrate right?
I also have a problem with those plant flies things, and now it seems like mold, I used to over water them, now I only water twice a week but now this is happening
so this is what happened,
i saw my plants two days ago, theyre usually behind my curtains, so i dont see them, i checked them out this morning, and I saw the cute large mushroom, I went to work, came back 7 hours later, and it was dried up, I checked the other pots and they had 3 died up mushrooms, I hadnt seen any of this 2 days ago, and the mushroom is 2.5 inches tall
These two dots seem like baby mushrooms? and it looks like mold or something,
