Anyone know what kind of duckeroo this is?
I'm thinking juvenile hooded merganser based on Google images but that's always a reliable source. I'm in northern Oregon btw.

Google pic I found that someone took that they claim is a juvenile hooded merganser.
I hear that coat type and having blue eyes is linked to a bunch of genetic diseases and I personally prefer on patchy coats but they're smart and healthy otherwise from what I know so go for it op
I've had mine for 11 years and I could not have asked for a better dog. Very smart, very good with kids and other animals. Mine is getting a little older now but he doesn't have any health problems and hes as energetic as ever. Downsides to my dog are small but include:
Occasionally knocks over the small trash can near my computer if I leave him at home alone for too long; won't go out if the grass is wet, he'll just hold it; Constantly wants attention which is great except for when I want to watch TV, take a nap, etc; hair everywhere all the time.

I just adopted a 3 year old. They have to run at least 3-4 days a week or they will never be satisfied. So with that, have a big fences in yard or be prepared to leash up and run with the dog. Very smart and loving and loyal, otherwise.
A baby bird fell out of a nest and landed on my porch. What do I do? I dont want him to die but I don't know anything to do.
look around for the nest. pick it up gently and put it back in the nest.

The nest is like 50 ft up in a tree.

Throw it up there faggot
Hi /an/,
I've got an elderly cat that's likely to pass on soon (desu we're amazed she's still alive and in such good condition, she's had cancer of the gut for years now and needs steroids to have an appetite).
I've been thinking about fostering or adopting another older cat once she passes, and I was wondering if anyone had any advice on where to look and how to spot certain behavioral patterns.
I figure I'll just go to a shelter and see which older cats are friendly enough to say hi, but I'd appreciate any advice. I love this cat to death but she was a gift (still a rescue) so I wasn't actually involved in her selection.
Pic related, is very sick kitty.

>I figure I'll just go to a shelter and see which older cats are friendly enough to say hi
Pretty much do this is all I can say, Old cats tend to be chill and crave attention.
Go into the shelter and find one that looks for your attention, avoid the shy ones but those too can turn out to be friendly once trusting.
You will probably have a better time with a cat that is friendly from the start though.
Fair play for being interested in an elderly cat, they donb't get adopted as much as kitten but they are still full of love to give.
I actually prefer them, currently have a 17 year old amputee, shes pretty chill and loving.
>>2175067
Thanks, I guess once the worst happens I'll just take a few trips to shelters around town. I'm sure there are plenty of older cats to adopt.
Here's another picture of the old gal

Looks like a nice cat.

my res turtle has a strange pink line on it's plastron. Is the line normal? it wasnt there until i moved her into a new tank
oh and my temp is at 80 degrees
Maybe she's changing her chips.
it looks like a normal growth line although most of the ones i'm seeing aren't that wide
There was this forest near my place, it was beautiful, then one day they decided to cut the entire forest down. Sad! This is why I have no faith in humanity

Enjoy your middle class rowhouse neighbors telling you that you can't walk the streets of their development, friend.

There was this board on a website, it was beautiful, then one day OP decided to be a faggot. Sad! This is why I have no faith in humanity.
My mouse keeps making weird clicking and chattering noises when I hold her.
Is she bruxing? She seems to enjoy being held- she often sits at the cage door waiting for me to pick her up if I'm near her and watching her
pic related, is artist rendition of mouse
she wants to fuuuuck
>>2174815
no
if she wanted to fuck, she would make that noise when i am not holding her
also, she just got out of heat, i think, she finally stopped doing that tail waggy fast thing, which, to my understanding, means she is no longer in heat

The problem is that i dont want her to be to sad or she loses her trust in me :(
She'll be confused more than anything.
OK /an/ I am freaking out. I have a snail problem, not a bad problem but I can't figure out what's going on.
I have 4 mystery snails, 2 yellow. A dark brown with spots and a dark brown nearly black with stripes. I have had them nearly 3 months.
I figured they were all male and split them up and everything was fine...until a few weeks ago when I found a 5th snail in my big tank. No worries I thought, they miscounted at PetSmart. Or I just didn't notice it. I scooped it into my small tank where it would fit. Now I realize that it isn't a mystery snail. Its a ramshorn snail. Again, I thought. How odd, PetSmart you smarmy fucks.
Today I looked into my tank, and I have a shitload of tiny tiny snails which my camera hates to focus on, this was as good a picture I could get.
What is going on /an/ I can't find eggs, I just find these snails, do I need to empty the tank and scrub it?
What kind of snails are they?
Oddly enough they have spots or stripes and look metallic in color.
You don't HAVE to do anything, snails are harmless even if you have a shitload of them.
>>2174715
Too late, they found my gun, their holding my fish hostage. And have crafted some sort of mind control device. This may be my last post.
But seriously what kinda snails are they? I'm assuming they must be ramshorn or mystery, but I have no idea, their tiny
>>2174717
Probably just pond snails. Probably came in on the plants you have.
Where can i find a Martha Stewart pet waste disposal bag? I've searched everywhere. pretty much impossible. Can you guys help?
>>2174701
... okay i want to know. why?
Now that the dust has settled, it's time to settle this debate once and for all. Bobcat or Lynx: which is better?
http://www.strawpoll.me/10825572
But a bobcat is a lynx. That's like saying "what's better: a dog or a poodle"
Specify a species of lynx
>Bobcat or Lynx
>not Manul.
manul confirmed for best cat species.
>>2174611
I mean just look at them.
obvious winner, other species aren't even worth considering you peasant.
Does anyone have an idea, how this little fucked up faggot is called? I was taking a dump when its antennas touched my toe. I havent known, that i can scream like a 5 year old girl...
>>2174589
It's a house centipede and you're a huge fucking pussy.
>>2174592
1st: Thanks
2nd: Fuck You. When i am about to shit while i am jacking off, this little shit scared me hard.
House centipedes confirmed for scourge
So I'm watching my friend's dog for a month and she suddenly has puppies. I was suspicious but I didn't know she was this far along. Oh well.
Now that I have to watch 10 dogs, how do I spot the runt beforehand in case I have to make a premature burial?
>>2174466
the next few weeks are crucial, please consult a vet and make sure you make sure they're eating well. i hope you don't lose any puppies. can you post more photos please? i'm very jealous
is the litter a golden cross or purebred goldens?
how has it been so far taking care of the litter? i hope they're doing well
>>2174582
They're not Goldens. Border collie.
Pretty stress free so far only she's kind of a clumsy dog and she'll lay right on top of them and not do anything about it if they start screaming.
I've been making sure she gets food and water regularly and that each pup gets fed.
>>2174582
What dog bread is this?
breed*
>>2174465
Borzoi.
>>2174465
What's with the long face?
