I lost my career today. I needed to pass a standardized test kind of thing for a major promotion, and I failed. I studied a lot last night, but I wasn't fast enough at the math portion (which had to be done entirely by hand, no calculator). So, I couldn't get the 20 question test done in 25 minutes.
I think I aced the logic/English/portion, but it's over. What do I do now? Stick to my role? Apply elsewhere? Give up?
I let down everyone on my team and now they have to spend months finding someone new even though I'm qualified. I can not retake it for two years.

I will be commencing my mid-year uni holiday after tomorrow and I have a female friend I'm planning to 'catch up with' over this holiday period (I'm anticipating to meet up within the next week or so). I have seldom seen since the end of last year when we were both involved in our city's youth orchestra, having only seen her once in person on campus (we are not studying in the same fields). She mentioned to me a couple of years ago that she had a girlfriend, however, this isn't inhibiting me from meeting up with her with the intention of physically escalating on her and seeing how she responds to my sexual interest in her. I intend to start a casual, friends with benefits relationship with her (as I intend to do so with numerous other women), and hopefully have threesomes with other girls with her (given that she is clearly lesbian, yet ambiguously bi - which I intend to find out). Any precautions I have skimmed over here which I should consider?

So I was taking some classes at the UNCC and i was running late for class and it was the first day of classes. Now I wasan't sure wich room my class was in but i knew what building it was. Im like, oh i ahh, signed up for the class late, i am supposed to be, im a student, I just figured im gonna walk out in 2 seconds anyway what does he care. He said this isnt a class. And I was like, What Apparently, this was some kind of inner city teach urban kids how to use excel so i look around and i see 28 african american children and it was an at capacity class, so 27 were sitting at computers and this teenage black girl is just looking at me, like, you stupid white boy I was RIGHT AT the page where i could see my classroom number so i just had to camly explain to him, i didnt know i thought this would be a normla class and i could just sneak out im sorry, can I please look my schedle to see what room im really supposed to be in. You just turned 18? Then you are too young for that. Way too young. You two are at different stages in your life and you're just not compatible. It sucks, but there's no way around it.
I can't magically make you not feel this way, unfortunately, but I can provide an outside perspective and tell you a couple things you probably already know (but it can help to hear them from somebody else). Getting hung up on one girl like that is silly, especially at your age. I'm sure she's cool, but there's lots of cool girls in the world. Nobody has a "One True Love," you have lots of potential One True Loves out there and one day you'll meet one who you connect with just as strongly. I guarantee it. Try to keep that in mind intellectually even if on a gut level it feels impossible. Try also to bear in mind that what's keeping you hung up on her is probably largely the lack of resolution and not that she's just so special and wonderful and beautiful and so on.
And don't beat yourself up; a year is a long time in a young person's life, but it's not THAT long in the grand scheme of things. You haven't been hung up on her so long that I'm inclined to call you abnormal or anything. At least you've still been getting out there and living life, even if the flings you've had since then haven't been satisfying. Even if it just feels like you're going through the motions, having the drive to do even that counts for an awful lot.

Got a pc question for you guys:
I have an x58 platinum motherboard and windows 10 won't boot with a 780 gtx in it (a 3.0 card).
It makes it to the windows loading screen and stays there forever. The 780 works fine in another machine that has a 3.0 slot, it is being powered correctly in the other machine, the psu is good, the 2.0 slot is good as I tested it with a 6780, and the machine boots fine when the 6780 is in it.
I don't know what else to do. Is there some setting in bios that I have to change so the card will be "recognized?" Is this just windows 10 being gay? Again, POST is fine, it just stays on the win 10 loading forever.

Really need some help here /adv/
Some of you may remember me, I've posted over the last year about a relationship I've had a really hard time with,
To make it short and sweet, I developed extremely strong feelings for a girl (unknowing to me at the time) who was extremely emotionally unstable. About 3 months into dating she had a pretty traumatic life experience (her brother blew his brains out right in front of her). She went off the grid on me and it took months for us to start talking again - only for her to abandon me yet again for a reason I still don't know the answer to.
Fast forward 7 months or so. I haven't spoken to her since November of last year. I've been living my own life and trying to be happy without her. Started a new job, hooked up with a couple of girls way above my pay grade - got my confidence back up to where it should be. That sort of thing.
About a week ago, I was drunk at a bar with some friends and I got a snapchat request from her. Since I had been drinking, I accepted. We haven't communicated, but she's looked at every single snap I've posted since I added her.
IMO she's either lonely and just looking for a way to keep tabs on me without actually committing to coming back into my life, or there's something greater working here.
I guess I need advice on what to do? I haven't tried to call/text her in 7 months or so. I figured we'd never speak again. For whatever reason it's been over a year since all of this went down and I still can't shake the feelings she left with me.

Cold or lukewarm.
Keep applying moisturizer multiple (two, three?) times a day, and aloe vera. It might take a little while because accutane dries your skin and makes it prone to irritation, and it sounds like your skin is irritated.
I never had to moisturize but after taking accutane I do after every time I shower. It's worth the clear skin but it changed my skin

If you clean it with product, e.g soap or cleanser, use a super gentle cleaning product, no bar soap shit I've seen some guys do
Use an alcohol free skin toner if you do that
A vitamin C serum for sensitive skin
Try to use a moisturizer with some kind of oils in it, jojoba oil, Argan oil, whatever.
It might take weeks for the dry spot to heal, use sunscreen too
