we have 2 kids age 4 and 1. we've been together since high school. she has a lot of medical problems and recently had to have a hysterectomy. because of the problems and hormones shes been on we haven't had sex regularly in a year. i play a lot of online video games and will admit im lazy and at times distant. she has had a lot of mental problems recently and been on a lot of psych meds. the usual is too much stress and anxiety. she has worked for the past couple year while i worked on and off from home and took care of the kids.
anyways, after the surgery she met a paramedic she liked and they became friends, i wasn't aware till she had him come by to bring her some medical supplies. something afterwards just didnt feel right, i thought i was just being jealous but decided to get drunk and snoop around her facebook. surely enough i found a huge message thread. her professing her attraction to him, talking about things she wanted to do to him and him to her. she was the aggressive one in the conversation. the first message i read was "glad you finally want me inside of you" and, "how are you doing with the guilt" to which she replied "its hard to feel guilty when you feel unloved" then he said not at his house cause he had kids and she said her house wouldn't be a good idea etc. im almost sure nothing had happened yet because of dialogue from after i discovered this.

im super sad and distraught now. shes my only real friend, she was with me through my mom dying and lives with me and my kids and grandmother. one of our children in medically fragile and requires constant care. so in the end without her i have nothing, havent had anything but her in 10 year (give or take the rocky parts). so what now? im at a loss.

Part 1:
A friend asked me about an artist they're trying to commission. He thinks the artist is being an asshole. Here's the convo:
Friend:
"Hey. I decided to hire you. However, I can't do $800 for 12 pages, I have a low budget. How about $600 and I'll extend the deadline from 2 months to 6."
Artist:
"The $800 is firm, I'm afraid. The length of time is more beneficial for me because I do work full time, yes, however you must understand the amount of work it takes to create these books, no matter the content or length. Mr. Friend, I'll extend you this: if there's something in my style you really like, and really need to have, and you're not just shopping for comic artists, do yourself and the project a favor and allocate the funds that appease the artist. I by no means intend to come off standoffish or full of myself and I apologize if I do, but this isn't just another thing I do; it's a craft I respect highly, and $50 per page for having penciled, inked, AND colored, isn't even a debatable figure.
So I say again, take the time necessary to allocate the funds, if there's someone else that'll work cheaper, then by all means, but my price, already discounted might I add, remains firm.
Think it over, and let me know what you think! Cheers!"
I'm also an artist and I know this guy's artwork is really good. I told my friend that I agree with the artist and that he's being reasonable. I also told him that unfortunately there's a lot of artists who get asked to work for peanuts because a lot of people think artists are inferior.

Just to clarify they're my parents.
So long story short: my friend got kicked out of his house and so my family took him in while he got his life under control (school, job, all that shit). It's now been a year and he's been working part time for the better part of that year.
The problem is that he just plans on chilling the whole summer. He doesn't want to work full time or take extra classes. He's basically bumming at my parents house.
I plan to move out in a month or two so there's a good chance he'll be here for a while without me.
Am I in the wrong for feeling upset with him? It doesn't help that he's the type to take everything person that takes all criticism personally, but will frequent insult others for laughs.
Also, we aren't fresh from high school or anything. I'm graduating and he dicked around for 3 years because of muh feels.

Is it possible to force romantic feelings over time? Im meeting this girl for a few months now and we share everything with each other, we talk and write everday and enjoy our company, meeting at last one time per week. Because i wanted to avoid the friendzone, i managed to kiss her many times and nearly slept with her when she came over.
