Resident Evil 2 Dualshock Version has two .bin files for each disc, how am I supposed to burn these to play them on my modded console? Do I have to use 4 CDs instead of two, or are both .bin files supposed to be burned to the same disc?
There's only two discs for RE2.
>>3750424
I know, which is why I'm confused.
>Resident Evil 2 - Dual Shock Ver. (USA) (Disc 1) (Leon) (Track 1).bin
>Resident Evil 2 - Dual Shock Ver. (USA) (Disc 1) (Leon) (Track 2).bin
It's the same thing for Claire's disc.
Those are probably the audio tracks, I've never burned ps1 games to discs but you'll probably have to merge them into a single bin/cue pair.
Get the free version of isobuster (it's free in the winrar sense), you open the cue in it and find this option. Remember to rename the resulting file to .bin when saving it since it defaults to iso.
What is a good Retro RPG where I can play as a tank:
Tank defined here as a character that wears heavy armor, wields a large weapon and shield, and generally plays with little to no magical ability.
When did people begin to call barbarians and warriors "tanks"?
>>3750413
Revival Xanadu on PC-98. If you like bumping into enemies and traverse illogical labyrinths.
>>3750441
Probably when team play became a thing,Tanking was a role that a Barbarian or Warrior did. Then it became an umbrella term.

Do you remember the very first Unreal? I don't think I had ever seen something like this before. It was BEAUTIFUL! It felt so magical. Just looking into the stars and being blown away by the graphics. The entire atmosphere. The grass. The landscapes. I also remember my first scripted moment (I actually hate scripted shit nowdays): When you enter that hallway and those lights turn off one by one or that other scene when a gate is almost closed and you hear some screams coming from the other side and blood splatting through that gate. Amazing moments. I don't remember any other game that has made me feel like that ever since. Of course it's all nostalgia and we didn't have something like that before. You can't break new grounds anymore nowadays especially with OH WOW look at those graphics. It just isn't there anymore.
>>3750109
I had no problems enjoying the game now without any nostalgia. Its still good.
>>3750109
I suppose at the time Unreal was Unreal. I didn't really enjoy it last year and dropped it around the aryan temple when you get the rocket launcher.
>>3750109
Fuck the graphics (not like I could enjoy them with the shit rig I had) it was all about the music and skaaj.
Remember when this was new and everyone wanted all the Square games on PlayStation to go with it?
FF6 and CT wouldn't have nearly the same following if this never existed
The remake will sell at least double what FF15 did
>Ehrgeiz
>Cloud in FFT
Yes we remember
Im definitely going to get this.
I'm curious if they'll keep the iconic box art updated with the new models.

You're going up a tower, so you're crossing the floor to the staircase on the other side of the building.
Which one should I play and why? I don't even know what the changes are but I grew up with the original and own an original copy of it. I've also got directors cut for Wii and I feel like point and click with the Wii mote would kill my arm.
Just play the director's cut for the extra Nico scenarios. The mime punching her square in the face was pretty hilarious.

Though unfortunately they also cut and censored certain things in the main game:

I suppose this is why GOG gives you both versions.
Get hype, anons!
Also, Brandish thread

Is it different to the SNES version?
Fugn nifty.
Glad that PC98 tittles are getting some attention.

Koei's SFC version is decent and probably the best Falcom game available on the console, but it cuts a lot of content, misses some music and has only 2/3 of the maps (about 18 areas). The PC-98 original is superior in pretty much every way.
We also checked the SFC fan-translation, just in case we could reuse any of it for the PC-98 version (with the permission of the authors, of course), but we decided to go against it. Their translation seems suitably tongue-in-cheek, almost Working Designs-esque, and they also took tons of liberties from the original. PC-98 translation will be more faithful to Falcom's original intent.
As for the game itself, it's excellent. Brandish 1 was damn great already, but Brandish 2 uses the formula in a huge interconnected world with brilliant map design and better organized levels. It's the perfect combination of 90s dungeon crawler map design with unique, fun action mechanics. One of the best dungeon crawlers of all time and easily one of Falcom's greatest.
Pic related, I'm one of the beta testers doing QA.
Does it bother you that GOG is selling cracked games, or that Nintendo uses pirate roms for the Virutal Console?
Nintendo claims to have written the header code independently.
>>3749516
>GOG is selling cracked games
The point is to sell games that can be played easily on modern machines, without burning an ISO to a CD and stuff. Also slav jews bought out the copyrights or licenses to sell them. Totally legit.
>>3749518
>the iNES/NES2.0 headers are just so intuitive that anyone developing a NES ROM header would independently arrive at it
No.
whats the best bomberman game

I was going to say 94 needs to be bombiest but i realized i never played super bomber man 3 and from what i read its a bigger better version.
So then i went to find a bomberman related image and i found out there was a 52 episode anime i didn't know about.
So today after work I'm going to play 3 and watch cartoons. Thanks.
Multiplayer: N64, Superbomberman 2
Singleplayer: Second attack + N64

Hey /vr/, first of all thanks for giving me advice on my first /vr/ purchase - the picrelated Gameboy Color for 20 bucks. I now have an important question - region locking. It's a Japistan Gameboy I think. Do I need to get specific repros for it? A specific flashcart? If it's region locked, can the right flashcart play Gaijin roms?
Thanks, /vr/, you are awesome.
no gameboys are region locked
>>3749476
Is that a
No, gameboys are region locked
or
None of the gameboys are region locked
Google exists for a reason.

The PS1 opening logos were hi-fi as fuck and an instant classic. Nothing will top that.
So I replayed Hyperstone Heist for the first time since I was a kid a good decade ago and the game is just as fun as I remember, but MAN does it sound like garbage... it's like they took the sounds/music from Turtles in Time and stuck it in a garbage disposal for a bit, then used it as is. Just why Konami? I know you can make things sound awesome, you've done it so many times before...
It was a quick cash in. Konami didn't really care about Sega.

Turtles in Time is better playing, better looking, and better sounding.

This thread is for the awesome games of Sega's Model 2 arcade hardware.
I've been playing Top Skater a lot recently. This is an extremely addicting game to play for score. Chaining together tricks and getting repeated S-tricks in the halfpipe feels great.
It plays well in the Model 2 emulator using an Xbox 360 controller, using the triggers to bank the board. It has that same late 90s pop punk style that Crazy Taxi does, with the music provided by Pennywise.

Holy shit OP I was fucking playing Top Skater just earlier today and I TOO was thinking about how awesome this game is!SOCIETYYYYYYYYYYYYY
>>3749049
I'm a huge top skater fan, but let's be real here. You can't emulate the fun of that board. That's like playing DDR with your arrow keys and pretending to be satisfied.
Wouldn't it be nice is the track I always played to, it's just got kick-ass pacing for the game.
Overall, this was one of my go-to games at the local arcade when I was a kid. They had Freeplay Tuesdays for $5 at the door and I would spend every Tuesday there after school mostly playing DDR, Top Skater, Initial D, Tekken Tag Tournament, and Time Crisis 2. I miss my local arcade.

Do you think it's possible to play this game with the board peripheral that came with tony hawk ride?
