were these even taken on the moon?
this shot looks done in a movie set, with studio lights.
>absolutely zero light scatter indicating this was most likely in a massive vacuum
No, the Earth is flat.
>we lost all tapes and negatives of the moon landing
Sure the burgers landed on the moon.

Who /40mm master race/ here? Tiny cocked 35mm users and faggot 50mm memers need not post in this thread
I know, right? Me and you, 40mm bro!
>>3100720
On full frame?
>>3100720
Don't even tell me you can tell the difference between 50 and 40 mm when it comes to composition.
You can buy a Nikon pancake 50mm for 50£ while an Ultron is 6 times that amount.
Loads of wank lads.
I have a bit of cash coming my way. £3k+. So I am thinking about moving to full frame. I shoot Canon. Although I wouldn't mind moving to Sony; possibly Nikon since I will probably have to sell my old camera gear anyway.
Any suggestions. I just need an all round kit. I am currently looking at the 6d (but understand there is rumours that they will be releasing the mk2 soon) and the A7 lineup.
Another option is to scrap the full frame idea and just get an EOS 7D mkii,

inb4 "kill yourself"

sure you want to do this if you have no idea what features you want and need from a camera body?
>>3100141
Evf and ovf offer very different shooting experiences, personally I think the advantages of an evf greatly outweigh any weaknesses.
The a7ii is a heck of a lot of camera for the money and leaves you some money for some nice lenses, a decent adapter for your canon lenses isn't too expensive and the af performance is similar to what you will be used to from your canon body.

It depends.

How about we trade some Lightroom presets?
I've started a Vola room so upload what you have and take what want.

I'm new to all of this and don't have a smartphone I'm just wondering if I can still use it normally without the 'smartphone twin video capture'

yes you can use it as a camcorder without a smartphone.

Just need to make sure before I buy this thing, I'm just getting into video recording lol
Can these things go together, or have I made a mistake? I was hoping for AF function.

the lens either broken or it's so old, it's not supported.
it's just a reflex lens.

Figured it out, just needed to update the firmware. It was confusing since this lens is just a rebranded sony lens (AF reflex, the only one of its kind)
I was working with a russian 500mm reflex, but I'm just notnfast enough with the long throw to get good action shots.
This works great now, and WAY lighter of a rig.

ITT- worst lenses ever made
I'll start
>Canon 55mm f/1.2
-old
-glows wide opened
-too fast to be sharp
-above f/2.8
-expensive for a piece of metalic shit
-canon
No redemption.

I would like to step out of the world of 35mm and into medium format photography. This is what I currently plan on buying. Can /p/ verify that I'm making a good choice here? Thanks.
>>3102652
in the faget there was recently an anon regretting buying a 645 camera. with such camera youll get an enhanced 35mm neg, but for that medium format feel (whatever that is) you should get 6x6 and bigger.
>>3102654
Thanks. I've mostly been looking around on KEH Camera and trying too keep the costs under 1,000 USD. One of the things that interest me about the camera is that I can change rolls in the middle of a roll with the interchangeable backings.
>>3102656
then youll be good with a modular system like the one found in Bronica cameras (as the SQA) and the Mamiya RB/RZ (both easily attainable within your budget).
So do you guys use or subscribe to the idea of a "walk around" lens to be able to use it for everything? And if so do you generally go with a zoom or a prime for that?

Yes, prime, usually a 28 or 35mm (FF equiv).
I use an mto 1000mm lens for street photography
>>3102073
Yes, it should be a roughly 24-70mm zoom.
That has been the standard since like the 80s.
If you need a prime than it must be a 50mm. Therr is a reason it is refered to as the standard focal length.
