>So when you want those extremely dramatic shadows in street photography does it have to do more with what film you use or what shadows are in play?
lightning is everything. but yeah, slow asa film (like acros or pan-f) can give pretty solid shadows and rich blacks. street done with slide film and strong shadows looks pretty intense too.

Just use your nice digital camera with a normal TTL flash. Not the weird converted film monstrosity.
I heart minimalism, here's a bunch of shit I took over the years.
Low res because most are phone cam.

Soviet cameras suck
I was pretty sad when my Nimslo 3d camera died after like 4 rolls. But someone gave it to me so no big loss I guess. Still miss it though.
fuck slav cameras and fuck slav people!
So this bad boy is coming in the mail tomorrow and I have no idea how to use it. Does anyone else have it?

What do you mean by "I have no idea how to use it?"
>>3097942
Ive never used a manual focus/aperture lens

Take off the kid gloves and learn the exposure triangle and sunny 16 all over again. Turn on focus peaking and learn to quickly find focus on random objects in your house.

I'm about to buy a bunch of photography books, but I have a question, are there any good places to download them? They're so expensive for the most part.

dw boys I just copped out 200 for these.
I use FF DSLRs, APS-C DSLRs and Mirrorless cameras and I would like to be able to mount my cameras to the outside of a Telescope for long exposures (wide views of the Milky Way or tighter shots of Nebula). I'd also like to be able to mount the cameras directly to the back of the optics tube of the telescope for planets, comets, moon etc.
I'm thinking that a Celestron 9.25" HD on a CGEM mount would be portable enough but suitable.
Is this a sensible choice? And would there be a downside to longer, single exposures instead of brief multiple exposures that are stacked?
>And would there be a downside to longer, single exposures instead of brief multiple exposures that are stacked?
Make your exposures as Iong as your tracking gear aIIows. You can capture much fainter objects this way.
>>3095714
Haha!
>should be portable enough
Better off Getting an Orion Sirius ED80 EQ-G Computerized GoTo Refractor Telescope
that is more portable and doesn't require colimation like your shitty 9.25" Cassegrain
>>3095888
kindly fuck off, please
I've been trying to take more surrealist inspired street photography, but I'm finding it hard to stumble into situations that fit my motif. I would really appreciate any tips on how I could find more of these scenes organically or any camera techniques that result in a more interesting image.
I'll post a few photos that I've taken already that have the feel/look that I'm going for. Any feedback on these would also be greatly appreciated!

So I was testing out a manual lens on my dslr a while back (horrible idea) and I ran into the remains of a dead sea turtle. It was washed up into the mangroves, it was muddy and I wasn't wearing appropriate footwear well let's just say it was very awkward to shoot. These are the only decent shots, thoughts?
