Unappealing, you have a complete lack of any ability to properly draw a face, the "spatter" technique for the background is a cop out and uninteresting and does nothing to add value to the work at all.

In a school setting, this is the kind of thing one expects to see from people before they study art - it's amatuer at best, and not even a good portfolio piece.

I would start from the beginning, with learning how to draw.

Been trying to look for photo repositories of her work. Twitter, Tumblr, Pixiv, deviantart.... can't find anything of the sort for her. Her work apparently includes masou gakuen hxh's character design and box art for their blue ray releases. I'm trying to find more sources, please helpz.

This isn't /wsr/ or /r/.

Hi, im searching for a high resolution version of this. Also I would love to know the name of this specific painting. If you have a source of more high res Beksinski art please help me out.

This is the place to go for all that is Beksinski. There should be at least some paintings with higher resolution there.

Don't miss out on his photography.

How do I draw feet?
13 posts and 4 images submitted.

Study a photo of the bone structure of a foot, and study a subject. Put these together to form where dark tones should be.
>>
>>2977867
>study the fundamentals of gesture and structure
>study {feet}, how do they look, how do they work
>practice a lot with photo references of various kind as well as others' interpretations

Replace {} with anything in this world and you'll never have to ask again
>"how do I draw {}"

Any questions?

How do you practice drawing? Do you draw a person and call it good? Or just a couple of poses a day? I do three faces and a body a day but I want to learn if anyone is doing it a smarter way.

Guess that depends what I want to focus on and improve. I've filled whole pages with just hands, or noses and ears. Sometimes it helps to lay some tracing paper over the picture in the drawing book and trace the picture. I've had it where drawing from the reference picture wasn't quite doing it but when tracing something "clicked". Maybe training my hand how to move or something.

I like the quick sketch, the ones that are one or two minutes. Helps me to see the essential forms in a subject and get them quickly onto paper, like where's the center of gravity, what motion do I want to capture. Keep the pencil lines quick and light, and try using a pen. Drawing without the ability to erase I think is a useful learning tool.

I also think it's a good idea to learn the fundamentals from the most "neutral" sources possible. No comics or anime references; because then you're learning to draw people from someone else's style. If you can, date all your work and keep every drawing.

Honestly, OP, if you're drawing, you're practicing. I really don't think you can call any one process of improvement "smarter" or more efficient than another. If you want to git gud at a certain thing, do the thing. Just know that no one ever gets to that "good" point. There's always more to improve on.

Try cleaning up your lines better, you could fix that in general by using lighter strokes. Also the head doesn't look like it's reaching down, it looks like it was just stichted onto the underside of the torso. Also stop drawing my little pony you won't learn much by doin this

FAQ:
Something's broken, what do I do?

>The original developer of the site has taken a leave for quite a while, originally due to medical reasons. Progress on the site is almost non-existant at this point. You can try contacting him at @LavaFlake or emailing him at [email protected].

What do we draw?

>Whatever you want. At this point there's no required topic so draw your heart out. Make sure you submit at least a half hour of work or you may get a low effort warning.

What's a low effort warning?

>The goal is to get people to draw every day by turning it into a competition. The low effort warning system is to prevent people from posting last minute, quick sketches when they're feeling lazy. If you receive a warning and it happens again within a month you'll be eliminated.

>This rule has been the cause of a lot of concern amongst newer artists so let me reiterate: this system is to police low effort content and has nothing to do with the quality of the work. New artists are more than welcome.

What happens if I'm eliminated?

>Your streak will go back to 0 and you will have to start again. No other penalties.

How can there be a new Last Artist Standing challenge every week?

>There is no week system anymore, instead new users are given "streaks" based on the number of consecutive days you can submit without getting eliminated. (token losses do not reset your streak)

Will I have an advantage if I join later in the week?

>The winner of a Last Artist Standing will be the artist with the longest streak. If you join on day 1 and last until day 85 then you'll have a streak of 85. If there's only one person left in the challenge when you're eliminated but they joined on Day 7 then they'll need to continue on for another week. If they're eliminated before then, you win.
there. kick rocks.

Let's say you're in your early 20's, made use of the /ic/ sticky and want continue drawing every day after work.

Can you improve your drawing skills by practice, learning about perspective and correcting your mistakes ?

What else do you need to do if you want to get better at drawing ?

I should have said: 'practice more'

I've been drawing since kindergarden and stopped during I high school, because I am not good at it/can't like what I draw.

Even had an art teacher for 1 year (during high school) and I chose to quit because still wasn't making any progress.

Do you sign your artwork? Did you make up a cool signature? Do you use your real name? First and last?
I just thought it'd be nice to ask the most unimportant questions.

My self-esteem with my art is so low and I'm such a perfectionist that I have never signed any of my work. I always feel like I have room to improve and thus don't feel proud enough to put my signature on anything. Also, signing work feels like an outdated concept.

Just write link to your portfolio/blog or your nickname in a way it can be recognized and googled
I also find a girl who sort of hide her signature - pic related, it's there not for recognition obviously, to prove her authorship maybe.
>>
No, but even if I did I wouldn't sign it like many do since the last century and a half or so, such as in op pic. Maybe on the side of a rock or a flat plane, and not in mere hand writing.

Can you help me find a painting, anons? (Pic related, I drew it with a touchpad. I know it looks autistic, so feel free to laugh at me)

It was from an article about cursed and/or creepy painting I read ages ago. Being 13, I shat my pants and closed it as soon as I saw this painting.Tried to find it now and failed.

It should be similar to this. The background was light blue, she had small beady eyes, a wide row of teeth that formed a creepy smile, and a long nose. Pretty sure she had curly ginger and was wearing a hat, too.

I like abstract art while still respecting figurative art.
Creating just shapes to make the viewer feel something tingles my brain.
>>
>>2978040
I see no principal difference between abstract and non-abstract art. People say "I don't get abstract art!" like they do get Renaissance or modern art to the extent more than "Oh, that's a person!"
