Alright /g/, I'm trying to figure this triple-screen thing out. For ease, let's assume I have a PC capable of running nearly anything across three 1080p screens (no 2k and without a doubt no 4k). But I'm trying to figure out what aspect ratio will be best for the task. I plan on using the three screens for productivity and creative tasks, such as AutoCAD, Solidworks and Inventor (I am using all three), but I also want to take advantage of the set-up for games (I want to set up a sim-racing "cockpit" and also play a myriad of games like Arma 3 and War Thunder, just to name a few).
So how should I do this? 16:9 or 21:9? What is the max acceptable size for 1080p? Is anything over 27" just going to look bad because of pixelation? Are three ultra-wides going to be too much (even if only 25" UWD) and is 21:9 going to really destroy vertical space in games? Could I run a center 21:9 and two 16:9s to the side? Are three 16:9s fine for CAD software/creative tasks or will 21:9s be a much more noticeable improvement (I've used 21:9 with CAD, but never a 16:9 outside of a laptop)?
Please help me /g/, I've been scouring over the internet for info and I have a general idea, but I was hoping for some more definitive input before I double down on three monitors.

Forgot to ask, flat screen (IPS) or curved screens? I plan to angle these monitors inward a little. Pic related.
multi-screen gaming is barely supported by any game, don't bother, it's great for general computer use though

I was mostly looking at racing (RF2, Project cars 2 and assetto corsa) and the few specific games that support it (ARMA 3, War Thunder, and a few others).
Thats also why I'm torn on the aspect ratio, I still want a single monitor out of the bunch to be good enough for games that don't support it (and I can work CAD at the same time in such instances, which brings its aspect ratio issues as well for which is best for productivity).
Anyone have any experience with cheap-ass tablets from aliexpress? I need something cheap to take with me on a business trip overseas.
Basically looking for the cheapest thing with an SD card slot and possibly a sim card slot for around $100 or less.

this site has nice reviews of them:

Old zenpad or a fire tablet? Won't be any more than 70 eurobucks with a memory card
I have a chuwi hi8pro and it's pretty good. If you check out the forums you can see 6.0.1 on there if you getting one with a serial number indicating it's 64bit. It has sd card slot too. No sim tho.
Embrace SystemD now or die virgin

I don't think that being fucked by a bootloader counts as sex.
When can I actually buy a fucking 8700K?
Some people are expecting availability until after Christmas, Brian can go fuck himself if he thinks I'm waiting that long.
>>62125464
I would expect them to release it at Computex, so maybe around July or August 2018
jesus christ how retarded are you that you can't find one on your own

Do youse even use the computers or do you just let it collect dust? It looks to me aside from turning it on none of you use it.
>>62125794
That Amstrad is the only proper way to play the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy text game, and a decent port of space harrier. Also good for dicking around in BASIC.
The dust however, is pretty much static'd to the screen. It's just how the CRT is.
Which One?
I hate extra unnecessary animations that slow things down, so I'm thinking Xfce is for me?
PROS CONS???
Unity for a mid high end pc
xfce for low specs pc or if you care about performance A LOT
dwm
unity is kill. go with xfce
Gimmie names for a general forum site. It's gonna be /g/ friendly (freedom and anonymity) plus some other stuff.
Already got a lot of the work done, and I want to launch it soon.

Works on my machine.
As much as I don't like that company, we have this thread every day. Don't you have better things to do?
>He is so insecure about his own shitty OS that has to complain about others to feel better with himself
So this is why they call it Beta Software...
Have you ever used one of those rugged tablets which have screens that are viewable in direct sunlight? I find it difficult to imagine since I've never seen any sort of screen that is still visible in direct sunlight
>>62125276
Yes.
>>62125276
I have a few transflective LCD panels from laptops here, they're nice. I guess the more correct term would be "sunlight readable" - you still get some glare but it's significantly less.
My kindle looks great in direct sunlight
What are some good websites to go to with ad nauseam installed to maximise the costs to google?
>>62125231
google itself, fill their services with data trash
Why didn't they just write a crawler to drive its self?
>>62125231
Running ad nauseam is literally illegal I'm not sure why the mods are allowing these threads to remain up.
