Long story short, I fucked up. I'm about to start a 4-year undergrad degree in August, but I don't have any money, and my FAFSA isn't verified yet. In fact, the verification process hasn't even started, and that takes 3-4 weeks generally. The thing is, I have $2600 due on August 14th. Even if I get the process started, I won't have it ready in time.
What do I do now? Apply for private loans? I honestly don't know what to do.

So theres this girl on a video game we play together who is really nice and outgoing. She seems super friendly and I added her on voice chat apps so I know she is real (although we haven't used voices yet and only text for now due to her family issues she says).
She often randomly stops talking to me every evening (we are both same time zones sort of and she is same age as me in college). Apparently there is this trend where she doesn't respond to my discord messages after a certain time each day. I know it sounds creepy and all but the app shows you time receipts for messages so I can see this clearly.
My question is.. Why does she tend to do that every day at a certain time? Like, I know for a fact she is online through the app (she will keep appearing online then going idle then returning again) but she stops talking all of a sudden and pretends the convos don't exist until the next day. I don't believe she is purposely avoiding communication but it slowly seems like she has this pattern.

Hey /adv/, I got a job offer today. Should I take it?
The reason I ask might sound ungrateful, but it is somewhat suspect to me because it seemed WAY too easy. I applied on Indeed, so the "application" was just resume/cover letter (along with basic info), and the only contact I had was a phone interview that was fairly softball and easy. I "prepped" for like 10 minutes the day before and apparently did "great". No reference checks or anything. I got the offer via email later that day.
The pay also seemed pretty low, but the cost of living for the area is pretty low too. I don't know if I should accept it unconditionally, try to get more money, or get the hell out of dodge.

Is it reasonable to demand that my teacher automatically give me a 100% on a two-hour, in-class assignment which she lost? She said that she would simply omit the assigment, but quite frankly that isn't fair to me. I've completed two hours' worth of material which would have most likely raised my mark. It's one thing to omit an assigment which is not completed, indeed very generous; it's another thing to omit an assigment that is completed, because my time has been wasted.

No, it's not.

I imagine she's not just going to write off that percentage of your grade, she'd just adjust your grade accordingly. So it you all the other work was worth 70% and you achieved an average of 75% for all of it, your final grade would be 75%.

Here's the problem: if his final grade in the class is 80, that means she's basically giving him an 80 on that assignment, which he may have deserved higher on and would have resulted in a higher final grade. All because of her fuck up.

Hey /adv/. This is a depressed anon, currently getting wasted at home.
I've been very derpressed last year. I wanted to die. It passed with time and care, I moved to another city, made new friends, worked on new stuff, but now it's coming back. I'm scared. I don't think I'll ever be able to carry on with my life. I'll just be incompetent and be stopped on my tracks every time because I'm incompetent. I'm afraid.
I don't know what to do anymore. Every night, lately, I've been wanting to die again. I've been sleeping in and, bc I'm afriad I'll sleep in, I get anxious before going to bed. I'm having a bad day and a bad time. Please, /adv/... I still don't want to stop fighting. But I'm again starting to feel like there's no point at fighting.

I want to read but I hate rading. I want to know the story in the book but reading feels the worst. I feel like i have ADHD when i start to read. My senses are bored of no pictures sounds and touch. I have the feeling that Im wasting my energy and and it lasts too long. My thoughts are constantly running away and I find myself in the middle of the page don't knowing what I'm reading and have to start over and over. It applies to any bigger amount of text. So I have a wart like pic related on my inner side of the hand, right there where you get calluses from lifting, since about 7 months now. At first I didn't bother with it for whatever reason. The I decided to get rid of it. I put vinegar on it and taped it up over night. The next morning I could see black points right underneath the skin.
As stupid as I am, not knowing that bleeding from warts makes just spread them even more, I decided to go full berserk and just cut the wart out myself. Of course I used disinfectioned tools. I sat there getting literal flesh out of my hand for about an hour. Of course it bled much. Well, I thought that was it.
Nope, three weeks later I saw the wart coming back. Small black points underneath my skin again. I got a an unguent from the drugstore that my used to help my brother with a wart. Well. I quickly realized, the wart underneath my skin spreaded. More smaller black points around the actual wart. And now I also noticed a wart growing on my thumb on my left hand. Im using this unguent for about 5 weeks now, it literally is just pain now when I use it, but there are still those black small points/really thin pins in my skin.
I don't really know what to do anymore. I decided it would be better to let my skin heal back and then use another method. Because today as I pulled off the dead skin, I started bleeding. So probably even more spread of those fuckers now.
Do you have any useful tips? Something that helped you personally maybe? I'm reading about a real ton of shit I can do, but I would rather use something, that proved to helped other people.

Those are such a pain in the dick, I had one on my ring finger right by the nail. Its gross af but suck on it and let your saliva soften it up, then you are you can start to dig it out with a sharp knife. No marks and I don't even remember which hand it was on now.
I heard that biting it while sucking on it can help, you have cells in your gut that act as billboards for white blood cells to check up on what to go kill, if the wart gets added to that list it should help. Also heard of suffocating it by putting some duct tape on it and letting it die that way.
In any case, that specific type is called a 'veruca' iirc, if that helps your searches.
