Other than Berzerkers, who have usually been on that path for a while I can see newer Khornate marines shooting and manoeuvring like proper Astartes, they're just a bit more driven by anger while doing it, increasing their chances of flipping and deciding that close combat time is now.

Khorne cares not from where the blood flows... only that it flows.

You can give shooting units the mark of Khorne and restrictions on shooting have never existed for Khorne.

His only beef is with wizards, which use the magic of others (and Tzeetch) instead of their own power and intuition.

Its why Khorne hates sorcery but still gives out demon/magical weapons, he doesn't care what weapon you use to kill, he just cares that you kill and shed blood with it.

He FAVORS certain weapons over others, like axes for example, but he doesn't ban any weapon.

In the same vein he FAVORS close combat killing, but doesn't ban shooting in any way shape or form.

So you usually see Khorne units going all CC not because its WRONG to do otherwise, but because its more likely to draw Khorne's favor.

I have a Khorne marked devastator squad and a bolter CSM squad with the mark and they have bolters all over the place.

2nd Ed 40k had pic-related. Subsequent editions have said that all World Eaters became Berzerkers though. Canon status dubious. Full autismos would make a fuss, anyone else would be "oh cool, ok".

There are also Daemon Engines of Khorne. Alongside claws, axe-arms, grindy wheels and other vehicle 'melee' weaponry they typically have some big ass guns on them. In fact they often have siege weapons. I guess that's because even Khornate Warlords realize you have to bash down a fortress wall to get inside, and that beating on it with a chainaxe isn't very efficient.

Khornate Titans are similar to the Daemon Engines - they'll have at least one melee weapon, but some huge shooty stuff as well.

The old Epic game had Cannons of Khorne, which IIRC were huge cannons made by Chaos Squats.

Reminder that Berzerkers carry bolt pistols, and the most badass Zerk of them all, Kharn, carries a suitably more badass plasma pistol.

You'll suffer just as many side effects, though, simply of a more Unaligned nature, you cannot predict whether or not this will turn out better or worse for you.

They are special cases, unless you're explicitly high enough on their lists in order to have them consider sharing you, you won't be getting any gifts from the Gods 'directly' without invoking or dedicating yourself to one.

Be'lakor closed the path to Undivided forever. Unless you are "one in eternity figure" like Abaddon and Archaon, then are out of luck because the Chaos Gods will not even look at you as a group.

The fluff of AoS outright says that only Archaon, among all who serve Chaos, carries the blessing of the four Gods of Chaos.

Furthermore, I want you to open the rulebooks for both versions of "Path to glory". In AoS and 40K, it's the same. There are only four paths open to the servants of Chaos and only four ways to daemonhood. There isn't a fifth one.

I personally love how d-shields are pretty much indestructible (I have a set that's been in continuous use since 2010 with no sign of stopping)
my only complaints are that when they're new the deck will slip and slide everywhere, and the backs can collect dirt and grime, which makes lighter colors less attractive.

During the first of those four years, the truce held. This was L-Town's golden era. The cliques got on, everybody did business, and there was enough market for small-timers and bigshots alike. Nobody needed to muscle anybody because even if you had two guys dealing on the same turf, they either dealt different shit or there were so many customers a handful of dealers could never sell to all of them alone anyway. Tower 1 and Tower 2 out in the Genforte Stacks hosted a pair of gangs with very different preferences in sporting event. The Lucky Puckers were all about hockey, whereas the ultra-patriotic Flag bastards were looking to watch a baseball game. Now, something happened, some shindig lost to the ages, where the LPs were hanging watching the MC Cup. They were drinking and partying like anybody else, but right as the clock goes into overtime, the Flag Bastards change the channel to a local baseball game they felt like watching. This started a brawl which led to a lot of politics. The bosses of both crews got their tower blocks involved, and soon, there were rivalries between a number of crews, dividing themselves into 'Evens' (gangs from even numbered towers) and 'Odds' (gangs from the other side).

Create a character that idolizes him, or is otherwise drawn to him. Try to get him to care for that character, get invested in him and try to interact. Have that character ask him questions about his adventuring and fighting. Then pull a Cowboy Bebop Waltz for Venus, and take him away from him. Preferably leave some kind of memento, and some kind of unfinished goal of the NPC for the player to want to fulfill.
It might not work, it's a long term plan, and potentially a bit of a dick move, but if you can get him to care about this character he might get more into it.

More generally I suppose, you should make maintenance an important part of automail, and if it breaks in a fight it should be fairly hard or expensive to replace, as it's very complicated machinery. Might even be necessary for users of automail to have some kind of skill to use it, or at the very least a low amount of engineering skill to maintain it.

So, metallic prosthetics that are controlled by magic to have a wider range of motions that would otherwise be possible for the time period, yes? Sadly, nobody seems to lose limbs in my games. If noting else though, I'd try and see how it fits into the world's industry; you probably aren't going to get something like that from the village blacksmith, and the world of FMA is set anywhere from the late 19th century to some time in the 20s - certain alloys and materials (like aluminum - important if you don't want it rusting) were available then that might or might not be readily available in whatever your setting is, though since it's your setting, there's nothing saying that native aluminum isn't a boatload more common.

Basically, figure out the logistics behind it - if you want your players to actually USE them though, you might have to get...creative. Players are far more adverse to getting their characters permanently marred than they are having them killed, oddly enough.
