You are an Inquisitor collecting all sorts of alien shit across the galaxy.
Obviously you need somewhere to put all your dangerous alien gubbins so you build a Fortress/Dungeon.
How do you protect your dungeon to stop heretics from stealing your aliens? What traps do you put in your dungeon?
An Eversor or two wouldn't go astray.

Won't the Dark Eldar just pinch them/give them back?
Hear ye, hear ye. I hereby call to order this meeting of the most illustrious Mages Guild!
While it is nice to see everyone back to work after Wizardmas, I'm quite disappointed in you all. You see, I shouldn't have to tell you that the teleportation transit network is NOT to be used to send 30000 frogs to the queen of a nation you dislike's bedroom as a joke. No matter how hilarious it was to see her wake up screaming.
NOW! Someone please find a solution to the new frog infestation in all of our teleporters and portals. They are affecting the accuracy of the portal destinations, people are ending up in all sorts of crazy places, and most importantly it is interfering with my majestic experiments!
Get to work, people!Welcome to the Mages' Guild. If you're new, don't worry - just pick a name and join in! Conflicts are resolved with d20s when needed, or with playing it out. When the thread dies on /tg/, we keep it going on desuarchive.org for even more antics. For additional resources, please visit http://1d4chan.org/wiki/Mage%27s_guild or http://collabedit.com/6fvae

>Emilia is sitting on a chair suspended upside down

I recommend anyone to avoid using the portals, something about them isn't quite right.

THE FROGS! THE FROGS ARE A SIGN OF THE END TIMES! REPENT MAGES! REPEEEEEENNNT! YOUR HOUR OF RECKONING IS NIIIIIGH!
What's this about frogs? This isn't about Pierre and Lanaki?
Well, that's a relief. Frogs, I am not in any way responsible for.
I want to get into Medieval table top wargaming. Could /tg/ please suggest 1. Some good rule sets I can use? And 2. Where can I find some good medieval miniatures (preferably 28mm) to paint and fight battles with?
I used to be a Warhammer Fantasy fan but my faction has always been Bretonnia and GW ignoring and getting rid of my favourite army has soured me towards the whole franchise. So I figure if I can't get my fill of chivalry and knights from Fantasy Warhammer then I can get it from historical wargaming.
Rules: Impetus probably. Maybe even DBA if you're into that.
Miniatures, maybe Perry's

How would a city with 100 million inhabitants look like?
>>51135953
Depends on the setting/culture/architectural styles/etc.
>>51135953
Google it faggot there's plenty of them in existence right now.
>>51135982
...Shanghai maxes at 30ish.Greater Tokyo + Yokohama is ~37.
Hey /tg/ Im playing a minotaur with PTSD so I need some fearsome creatures that would scare some one that much in battle.
>>51135910
Rust monsters.
Feys in general.
Whatever uses hit-and-run tactics with poison.
Dragons.
Tucker's kobolds.
Witches/Hags.
Anything, really.
It all sums up by -HOW- he got scared, and less by -who-.
Fire, just fire.
Trapped in an enclosed space, surrounded by fire. I think that could work.

A roper.

I'm endeavoring to make a pantheon of sorts for my 5th ed setting. I'm kind of stuck, a little. I only have 3 gods thought up in concept, not even named or anything.
>God of Healing, who is a happy, slightly crazy, bandaged up dude. His Clerics wear a bandage about them somewhere, be it on the arm, leg or finger.
>FemKhorne, in essence, who is all up on brutal violence, especially in war. A friend of mine said I should work something period related in. Considering it tentatively.
>A Mountain God, who is mishmash of Crom and Kholek Suneater: generally shitty in disposition, hangs out on a huge mountain, brings down storms and calamities. Will consume...like, the Stars, the Sun or Moon or some shit. Still in development.
I'm just drawing a great big blank for the rest of them.
I mean, Moradin, Gruumsh and Corellon Larethian are also hanging around, so I don't have to worry about them.
And obviously, I'm going to make sure all the domains are covered with some overlap.
Care to help me brainstorm?
If not, have you ever thought up a pantheon yourself? How did you go about it? Tell me about it. Maybe it help me will kickstart my creative process.
Thanks in advance
polite bump
We played a god game before yeah, where each player was a deity and created the setting together. We had a few interesting ones, sure. Did you have somethings you needed in particular?
>>51136444
That is a badass idea. I've thought about running a game like that myself. What system did you use?
As for what I need? Well, like I posted, I'm a tad...stuck. I have only those 3 Gods thought up. I'm trying to...be at least quasi-original with the deities in question, so I hoped to make a general "Pantheon Making/Homemade Pantheon stories" thread in hopes we could all brainstorm and shit, feel me?
Do you think the drafting-system is more fair in Magic than Hearthstone? If so, why?
>>51135266
Needs flying and to be black, but otherwise fair.
Yeah but that's not fucking hard.
Limited is still an utter mess and has been since they fucked with the rarities because fuck removal.
obviously, there's a magnitude of difference between drafting/building a deck from a collective set of cards versus every player drafting from a separate random pile. Being able to know what cards you are going to play against makes a huge difference, granted the small card pool for Hearthstone makes that almost true. But as the number of sets increases it will become even more random. MtG draft also allows you to choose from a larger subsection of cards at a time, allowing for more strategic decisions based on your known card pool.
and all this makes perfect sense considering it's free to draft in Hearthstone so they need to increase randomness in order to encourage you to spend money

So a recap:
>Crusade - "We need people running around and hitting the Imperium's enemies. Found a Chapter!"
>Progenitor: Iron hands
>Cursed Founding
>Genestock flaw: Hyper-stimulated Omophagea - Eat the enemy!
>Demeanor: Uphold the Honour of the Emperor - Performing unheroic acts? *BLAM* No.
>legend: Scout, 9th squad seconded from a previous generation Successor or even the First Founding Legion that provided the new Chapter’s gene-seed.The hero led a glorious campaign against a rebel army, defeating the foe and bringing an entire sector back into the light of the Emperor
>Homeworld: Jungle Hiveworld with distant rule
>Codex Adherent
>Specialty is terror assault
>Over Strength: Some Chapters maintain more than the prescribed ten companies, though it is rare for more than a handful more to be fielded and even then only temporarily. It may be that the Emperor’s Tarot has predicted terrible losses ahead, or that the Chapter simply regards its numbers as optimal and cares little for the dictates of the Codex Astartes.
>chapter beliefs: Purity of Man - "Flesh is better than bionics!"
>The Administratum are our allies
>Dark Eldar are our Enemies
We're looking at either doing a Greek theme, specifically like Spartans, or going with full on blood-sacrifice.
>Pic Related is possible color scheme?

b-b-bump?
Hunting and eating their enemies? Sounds like a bunch of SMs that are trying to become chefs of the Emporer.
>we must hunt, cook, broil, and sample the greatest foods to know what to cook for the Big E
>the crusade is just a shopping run
>everyone has great table manners and often eating is more social.
>"Chef-Lord Ramsey is known for running a tight Scout company, but damned if he doesn't know how to make good meal!"
>>51135023
They're decended from the Iron Hands but they have Purity of Man?

What was your favorite thing about old /tg/?
I liked when we could have threads about future politics without the thread immediately descending into /pol/fags spamming infographs about nigger IQ. Just a nice friendly thread where everyone roleplays as a Martian ambassador or a cranky AI that supports higher taxes for outworld colonies.
I loved how untrollable /tg/ was.

pic related. also, checked.
I'm creating a 7 Deadly Sins themed DnD campaign.
I'm kind of stuck on how "Sloth" should be represented monster wise.
My default deign is that it'll be a monster that immobilizes players. Got any better suggestions?
Strongest of them all but limited by its own laziness.
>>51131317
>>51131339
I was thinking Sloth from Full Metal Alchemist.
>>51131317
Only attacks in retaliation for being attacked.
So I'm creating a science fiction game and setting and kind of desire to include 'reality warpers' in the setting, but reality warping that isn't defined or similar to psychics.
What is a good name and how should this reality warping work?
use intelligence to determine how well they can shape an object into being
the bigger the change they want, the harder it should be to change without causing unintended side effects
altering a small object, or event should require no roll or incur too much change
altering history, causing buildings to bend inception style, or mass brainwashing should be incredibly difficult, and cause a butterfly effect of changes
>>51126313
Do you mean magic, OP?
"First Guardians" are animals exhibiting unique genetic codes that allow them to tap into an energy source (the carcasses of two seperate Universes undergoing nuclear fusion. Basically Infinity x2) which makes them able to perform such feats as warping Space, travel at light speed, grow/shrink anything, teleport, convert matter and energy freely, supercharge matter/energy, or just toggle open or close a direct portal to their power source (via their own body) to cause a nuclear explosion of desired size. Basically Physics is at their Bec and Cat since they have an infinite supply of energy to call on.
