>Fucking stupid bard keeps pissing off enemies and starting fights without ever giving us a chance to try avoiding conflict
>Quietly stewing in my anger for months

>/tg/ always says the solution to problem players is to just try talking to them
>Send him a text after session saying I dislike his behavior at the table and want him to reconsider the way he approaches encounters
>He never responds
>The next day I get a text from the GM
>Bard player said I was "harassing" him and the GM has a "no tolerance" policy so I'm getting kicked out of the group
Fuck you, /tg/. You told me all I had to do was try talking things out. You fucking lied to me. I have no group now.

But seriously, if your DM is that shit about it you're better off now.

yeah, at least one line from your story is a lie, or you're omitting something.

I am going to run a post apocalyptic game for my group. Notably, it's a nuclear apocalypse, occurring after a massive war. Not going to delve into the specific details of the war, but I just want to focus on the 'after' part. It's going to be pretty dark & gritty, and I'd love for some help regarding radiation, the effects of nuclear warfare, and possible encounters regarding illness, or food.
Everyone dies. No fun mutations.
>>51146095
High-yield nukes destroyed the ozone layer. UVs Rays kill all plants. This leads to animal and humans dying of hunger.
>>51146095
Watch the 1965 movie "The War Game" as well as the 80s movie "Threads." Both are fairly informative about nuclear war and entertaining as well.
Also, if I may recommend a system, Twilight 2000 does realistic post-nuclear very well.
Has there ever been a roleplaying game really set in Korea? Modern? Ancient? Even future?
Suddenly occurred to me that it's a pretty interesting culture that somehow always seems to get left in the media shadow of the Japanese.
No. And there won't be for a long time because nobody gives a shit about old stories of Korea whilst pic related is more morbidly fascinating.
>>51146024
You could still have games about that. From what I understand there's a lot of fascinating espionage and even small scale military action that's happening all the time between the Koreas. It seems like such rich ground for games, yet somehow it's always missed.
>>51145743
You dun goofed, OP. Everyone knows a troll thread about Korea has to start with a pic of a somewhat attractive woman so that everyone can argue about how much plastic surgery she got.
Could a Good person and an Evil person be friends?
Easily. "Evil" doesn't mean you can't care about anyone else, just that you're willing to do "evil" things, possibly even for the benefit of someone else.
Have you never seen a comedy about wacky, mismatched spouses/room-mates/siblings/whatever where one is a nice person and the other is a complete asshole, but they still love each other anyway?
>>51145282
My lawful evil aberrant blooded sorceress was best friend with a lawful good ex=city guard and buddies with a neutral good bard.
She knew they would not approve of her being blatant about her ruthless pragmatism in a city full of thieves, pirates, blackgards, and generally unpleasaant people. So she made sure she covered their nice, good hearted asses in the background, doing things like liquefying the assassin that tried to kill her friends and sending him to the people who hired him in a barrel with a note telling them to knock it the fuck off or else.
She was the terrible, horrifying shadow in the background that scared the average badguys away from the nice guys trying to save the world.
How do you kill a dragon?
Depends on the setting.
A sharp object stabbed into a soft spot usually works, though.

Extensive use of the Benny Hill theme and player shenanigans that shouldn't work but do.

gA my nigga is you around? I got a rules question for ya':
Say Bound//Determined has cascade for whatever reason (Yidris, for example). If I cast Determined, the UG cost half, the cascade ability of the card will look for a card that costs 1 or less ou 5 or less because of Bound's 3BG cost? And why?

An enormous space hulk has exited the Warp and your Explorator demands you lead your team of elite guardsmen deep inside to find an ancient artifact. There is no time for backup.
The object to your left is your squad's weapon.
The object to your right is your squad's armor.
The object behind you is your squad's tactics.
Did you survive?
>>51139689
Dog bowl, computer tower, and bed. I'm...not sure what bed tactics would be like.
Yea
Cellphone, Lamp, Bed Headboard.
I don't understand the tactic here, Explorator.
>Dragons are the only true immortal beings in the material world
>If they are killed their spiritual essence merely reforms and possess any matter to reconstitute it's physical shape often assuming properties of the material it assimilates as evident when a dragon's soul possessed a cargo tanker and became a metal monstrosity.
>However, in spite of this power Dragons do not possess anything more than animal intellect as only mortals are apparently intelligent.
>To become immortal is to give up your ability to reason and be self aware.
A fair trade-off I would think. I was thinking of making it part of a plot hook where the bbeg tries to become immortal.
>>51137612
Yeesh, it'd be a rare person who would willingly commit Ego suicide to gain "immortality".
I think it would be kinda anti climatic and seem like kind of a ass pull if the BBEG suddenly started barking like a dog after becoming immortal
>>51137666
The trick is this isn't generally known fact in the world as people pursue it. The Dragons didn't think as much until they did it, now they no longer possess the ability to do so.
>>51137671
True, hence why the bbeg would turn into a monster of somesort, essentially becoming another Dragon in the process.

>Opening it up, we can see the box is packed with stuff. There are no less than 6 Reaver Jetbikes and 10 Hellion skyboarders in there. Even for the models alone, this set is a great deal and a perfect place to start for anyone wanting to collect an airborne force from the Dark City.
>The idea with this box, though, is that these form rival gangs that will battle for supremacy and loot though the spires of the Dark Eldar’s decadent capital. Speaking of which, you get some spires – cardboard pinnacles of Commorragh’s many towers that your gang can expertly weave around (or, if you’re unlucky – collide with…)
>The game itself is entirely self-contained set, and all the rules you need to play are in the box. There is a quick start guide for those who want to get battling straight away, quick reference cards for both players, and a more detailed rulebook for those who want even more depth to their games, including expansive rules for a campaign.
>Gangs of Commorragh really comes into its own in campaign play. Each warrior can advance, gain skills and be equipped with all the usual wargear you’d expect from Reavers or Hellions. While the customisation of individual models is high, the campaign mechanics themselves are simple and scalable, allowing anything from a couple to dozens of participants, making it ideal for a gaming club.
>For those who want, you can also expand your murder-pack into a more powerful gang with more Hellions and Reavers from the Dark Eldar range (though you get easily enough to start off with in the box, with models to spare in both gangs).
Looks like shit.
