Why isn't the Eldar taller than him?
>>51105772
He is a little over 6 and a half foot tall. Not freakish for a human by any means but over the average.
She is about 6 foot tall. By no means a dwarf or deformed or anything but notably petite and beneath the average height for eldar women.

You know i notice that artwork of LIVVI in Love Can Bloom is often bound to always look like freakin Markiplier.
How do you get your players to pay more attention, take notes, not talk or interrupt rp interactions and rp more themselves?
Like we are all RPG fans and fans of things like critical role but when we play i feel like im the only one trying and no one is taking it serious. I know we're not actors but at least try and get into it, it's a rp game
Idk, just feel off after todays game.
Dumping art in the meantime
As a player, I've done it in various forms, from having a IC diary, fleshing out a tribe, clan, family, merchant house, merc group, keeping communal notes and it's all for nothing. It impacts nothing, nobody bothers to read them, nobody comments.
I tell them they can read them and appreciate any feedback, but nothing ever comes of it. The GM will mutter something and then it's forgotten.
Bums me out.

I need some good RPGs that focus on immersion. Basically, games with the following characteristics:
>not so heavy that people constantly consult the rules, or so light that in-character tactical choices aren't available
>"rules as physics" such that players can make decisions entirely in-character and obtain results that make sense
>players rarely or never lose control of their characters
>players rarely or never make choices that affect the game outside of role-playing
I'm particularly interested in sci-fi games of this nature.
>>51229209
GURPS is one of the best immersionist games in my opinion, you just have to be careful about what material you use and it may be a good idea to streamline things at times.
Savage Worlds has some immersionist tendencies if you want to go harder into rules-lite territory. Unisystem also works pretty good for immersionist play.
I'm working on an immersionist cyberpunk rpg myself, but that's neither here nor there.
>>51229282
Thanks. I'll look into GURPS.

>MMO's killing TTRPG
What? The industry is exploding again since the indie era has kicked off.
I'm looking for a rules-light system for an old west / pioneer frontier campaign with light magic elements (native american shaman has future-vision, salem witch casts a curse that makes someone's gun misfire, etc). I'd like for it to allow for violent and non-violent solutions for situations.
Any suggestions?

Savage worlds deadlands.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Dogs in the Vineyard is a neat game about mormon-ish settlers in a west that never was. It's pretty rules-light and a fun time with friends,
I'm sure you could play around with the rules a bit to do magic shit in it.
Cadia is alright guys, 10/10 would never fall - edition

It's been a while since we've had one of these threads, maybe we'll get something interesting out of this.
I'll start.
> The world has two suns and many moons.
On this worlds soil the first race has been born, the lizardmen
>>51228449
The lizardmen were shaped from the earth, and they were of the earth, hardy and strong, but stubborn and slow-witted.
>>51228560
Their shaper is unknown, although the Lizardmen relics claim the sun and the moon contributed their radiance onto the soil. This is why the lizardmen come in mostly golden and silver varieties.

What's a good system for modeling mass combat against large creatures? Like a dozen tribesmen taking down a mammoth, or a score of knights bringing down a dragon?
>>51227503
>What's a good system for modeling mass combat
There isn't one. Mayyybe GURPS with the right choice of supplements, but I've no idea what the right choice means here.
>>51227503
You can modify most systems to function at a different scale, roll for all of the tribesmen (or if they're split into groups roll for each group) at once and do an appropriate amount of damage, when the massive beast attacks instead of damaging individual units each point of damage kills a man.
This way you can reduce the number of rolls required to end the conflict, you can still apply bonuses and penalties appropriately.
You will need to do a little fine-tuning to figure out appropriate damage values and whatnot.
>>51227503
Riddle of Steel? Certainly something that takes subsystem damage into account.
So real talk: who would win, Eldrazi or Phyrexians?
(pic unrelated)
>>51227108
Definitely Phyrexians, considering Eldrazi are kill
>>51227108
Does it really matter? It's not like they won't all end up being stomped by the Jacetice League.
>>51227232
Well Emmy's still technically alive. And considering she basically forces continuous organic growth which Phyrexians seem not so fond of of that would be weird to see.

Shitbaiters don't even try these days.
Have literally no need for these anymore, never really got very good or cared to play the game but I enjoyed collecting these as a kid, however I was poor so I never really got THAT many despite collecting them for years. I honestly will never miss these. A lot of them are older cards. Where do I go to sell or just get rid of these card's. If I can get money for them I'll take it other wise I'll just give away the lot. Any ideas?
Forgot there are like maybe 5 packs of shit baseball cards in black book but the majority is yi gi oh cards
>>51226379
I'd recommend going through the cards and search their names using http://yugiohprices.com/
to find if any of them are worth much. You could sell them online or at a local game store if there is one in your area.
I want to make the most FAGbulous character in Forgotten realms. Whose God should he worship? Sharess? Sune? Mielikki? Milil?
>>51226308
Lathander
>>51226308
The only one he should worship is himself.
In a mirror, if need be.
>>51226308
>Whose God should he worship? Sharess? Sune? Mielikki? Milil?
Sune works.
Could make him a narcissistic Tymora worshipper who constantly reminds others how lucky they are to be around him, and has loads of annoying catchphrases relating to luck.
Can you have habitable worlds with red dwarf?
this is a question for >>/sci/
>>51226255
I imagine so, although said habitable worlds will have to be closer in proximity to the red dwarf than Mercury is to our sun.
I was watching lore videos about Destiny and something that came up was the fact that "Guardians" before Guardians were a thing were able to use abilities that weren't in keeping with the idea of how the different classes are currently defined in the time the MC Guardian is up and running so that leaves a lot of potential of lost techqinues and abilities that the innovaters/users of the class before hand could use but were lost or forgotten and no one has yet gone out of their way to push their ability to use light in ways that isn't taught to them already.
This, I think, would allow for the possibily of an Pen and Paper version of the game and allow a level of flexibility without having to strictly be in keeping with how the game presents it.
That said, do you think Destiny would be able to be translated into a PnP game?
>>51226037
Yes, but there's some question of how you would do it.
I've always thought it would work best if each class had some set "spells" that only they could learn, then a pool of more miscellaneous ones. Maybe some shared between two but not the third.
>>51226453
That's what I figure it would be. The classes would have their own set abilities that are exclusive to them but that ought to be a given.
I certainly like the idea of having abilities inspired by other classes. I think the Hunter's Blink was said to have been taught to them by Warlocks right? I don't see why a Bladedancer couldn't teach a Stormcaller how to turn all that Arc energy into a sword or something.
