Hey /Tg/, I just began a new Tyranid army, and need some fluff behind them, so let's generate a Hive Fleet. Roll a d100 for our Progenitor.
Rolled 28 (1d100)

I swear that Tyrant looks like it's holding a Bad Dragon dildo.
>>51225080
Well yeah.
Where do you think the tyranids came from?
In 2050, Bad Dragon sent a probe into space to develop the best sex toy ever from raw materials.
Over the millennia it adapted and became self-aware, and found organic materials were best for raw materials.
It started adapting itself and its mission into biological hardware.
But most of the alien worlds it scavenged from were kind of annoyed by the probe stealing all its biomass to turn into sex toys.
So the Bad Dragon created living sex dolls, armed with weaponized sex toys. It did this millions of times, recycling and repurposing, until the Bad Dragon had many different component fleets as part of it. It would send these fleets out to scour worlds with its legions of sex dolls (which may have become militarized over the millennia) all with one ultimate goal.
When the Tyranids invade earth, a single spore pod will make it through the storms of anti-aircraft fire to pierce the roof of the Imperial Palace.
The lips of the pod will peel back, oozing degenerate liquids, to reveal a tyranid bioform, armed with a variety of obscene biomorphs.
It will turn towards the Emperor and utter in a terrible, sibilant tongue,"Me love you long time."

To that guy who wanted lewd cyoas, this is my most lewd one.
>>51224208
I'm making excellent use of space, I think. Things are about as dense as they can be before I have to start cutting back on content. The largest part of the CYOA is a segment comprised of 40 rows of 1500x750 sections, each one comprised of 5 300x750 companion images + summaries. The rest is equipment, spells, teachers, and gods. I can post some examples if you want.

I... huh. That's a good point. If you're on the level where you're spamming NPs with the First, you can probably just make a magical item that imitates UBW.
>>51223285
Actually, I wonder who's better at sword spam? Could Reza beat Archer or Gil?

What is best in life?
>>51224054
That can vary from person to person, but for me, it's the soft cuddles of the person you love and being bundled up in a warm blanket at the perfect temperature as you listen to the howl of the snowstorm outside your window, and you are sitting by a warm fireplace with hot cocoa
that's the best feeling in the world
About to start a new campaign with a group of friends and trying to come up with unique ideas for characters
Would you as a DM allow a character to travel with a 1 year old baby? It could be like a shield that doesn't increase AC.
And on that note, what are some other unique character ideas?
>>51223928
Hire a wetnurse/nanny hireling, keep her and your spawn safe, then enjoy your adventuring.
Hirelings, man.
As long as it isn't his baby, and there are plenty of ladders and vases around, he should be pretty well optimized.
The definitive title in the genre of "Murder Hobo carries a baby."
A surprisingly broad genre.

What would happen if Kaldor Draigo killed Lucious the Eternal?
>>51223447
More warp dust.
Draigo does not turn into Lucius.
But Lucius comes back anyway.
>>51223479
This. In fact i'm pretty sure this has explicitly happened more than once
There aren't really any rules, Slaanesh just likes the guy. So if Lucius dies in a way that breaks the supposed rules, Slaanesh will ressurect him anyway.
Because it's a Chaos god, and Chaos are dicks.

How do you feel about odd archetype concepts for different main stat classes, such as INT Barbarian or STR Wizard?
Reposting from last thread.
Need some critique on my Ranger archetype. Based it on the Runeseeker homebrew class.
Aside from any personal critique given, this is what I'm looking at knowing opinions on.
1. Is this too strong/overdesigned?
2. Does this offer a niche for Rangers?
3. What should the 11th level feature be?
4. Is there any features or runes I should tone down/scrap?
5. Any ideas on more runes you'd like to see?
6. What should the archetype be named? Runeweaver was a placeholder.
I myself think I should probably just scrap most of Runic Weapon and just combine it with Rune Arts.

funny memes
As a fairly muscular and handsome hetero dude, would it be weird for me to show up to my friend's game with a qt3.14 witch character with heavy potion-brewing and Halloweeny vibes?
Chaos Undivided is more than a pantheon a philosophy, it is the Eightfold Path, it is the primordial truth behind the curtain and the sin of knowledge, the revelation and the secret, it is many things but not a religion as we understand it. Chaos is freedom, ambition, power and glory, it is damnation but also reward, it is the moment when you break your chains, when you dispose of your humanity and when you embrace something so unfathomable that dives you insane but also ecstatic with the knowledge that your destiny is in your OWN hands.
When a enlightened exults For Chaos! across the din of the battlefield he evokes this truth, he utters in words what his eye have seen and what his soul has felt when he opened his mind to the truth for the first time. When marching under the banner of Chaos Undivided one marine does not favor an exalted power in particular way, neither he favors them all, but he is the herald of the truth, the truth of which destiny lies beyond the skein, the truth that follows death, the truth that power and ambition are rewarded, the truth where you as an individual can become a literal god, an immortal, a being of such utter power only if you will it, only if you dare it.
>>51223014
I just want to get laid, sleep until noon then overeat, and develop complex trollposts in order to cause maximum rage on the internet.
Chaos Undivided is not a religion, it is a philosophy, a philosophy of the self interest, of tangible power and the shattering dread of the ultimate truth. This philosophy teaches a human that if he is ambitious enough he would be rewarded, it teaches him that if he kills with the name of the Ture Gods on his lips he would catch their eye and receive their boon, it teaches him that one day he can become a demigod, a mortal no more, and all this if he only wills it and dares it.
It is also the philosophy of the metaphysical, where reality and dogma shatter, a philosophy that teaches its followers that the laws of physic do not exist, that any laws are artificial, that dogma and ad a closed mind lead your soul to be shattered by the dreaded dream predators. Chaos Undivided is a philosophy that teaches you that you have a soul, teaches you that with your dreams you shape the universe and it teaches you that nothing is impossible, everything can be done if only one dreams it.

>hey guys, lets talk chaos
>chaos isn't chaos, it's organized, see?
>why aren't you paying attention to me?
well /tg/, I don't know if much of you are into LARPING, but here's another thing I made.
Last time I came I posted my fat self wearing my chainmail armor. Now this time I made a shield
Here's the back of it
>>51222791
Looks good man. What's the Measurements also what system?
>wooden shield
Be careful. That's the #1 object that ends up getting broken at the LARPs I go to, including the softer LARPs.
How strong (in combat prowess) is individual or one squad of tactical space marines compare to other forces of Imperium of man, especially if fighting on any terrain and against any enemy?
Well... they can punch through the back of a tank with their bare hands
>>51222493
sounds scary strong but so can melta-gun, but how well they would fare compare to Sisters of Battle (present in far greater numbers than marines) on desert world fighting cultists or orcs?
>>51222461
They're as strong as whoever is writing them at that moment needs them to be
Hey TG I've been a warhammer fan, 40k and Horus heresy for years but only recently got into the models and I would like to play a game (my first ever game) with someone local, how would I meet or organise this? Any ideas? ( Don't say go to games workshop and play every time I've went there's an event or the tables are already getting used)
Bro are you retarded? Go when the tables are full and ask a veteran player to play you once they're done. If it's an event stay and watch so you can learn to play better. It doesn't get any easier than that. If you play nice with the other kiddies at the shop then they'll be happy to join you in your first ever game.
This one needs a name.
