I work for a pretty large construction firm in a big city. We have dozens of projects going on in the county at any given time, like apartment blocks and the like. When I first started I'd get shifted around and it kind of blew.

Last week they moved me to one of the high value projects fulltime for the next eight months and my new supervisor is a cool dude.

Three hours ago my mom insulted me in probably the most serious way like she never did before. She got mad because I slammed a door because I am horribly depressed and have serious anger issues. I didn't even slammed the door that hard, in this shitty house everything is louder than it should be.

The solution for me was to start antidepressants which took the edge off the self-hatred and fear of dying a virgin so I could accept that my place socially will always be as just a friend and focus on my friendships and my work.
