In 2014, an average of 20 veterans a day committed suicide in the US. It's estimated that 40% of trans people have attempted suicide. So to show how much we care about trans people, let's let them become veterans so they're sure to try to KYS themselves again!

the worst ones i can think of are:
-russian sodier
-russian tank crewmen
-russian sailor
-b17 ball turret gunner
-plane rear gunner
-soldier with flamethrower
-japanese pilot flying wood and paper firebomb
-submariner

Think I'll take the ball turret after all.

I'm guessing these numbers were for the Australian AO?
Hey /k/ how do you defend yourself from a knife attack? Yesterday in Germany a refugee/migrant stole a knife from a supermarket and killed person and left 4 more injured.

Run away
Why were people promoted so quickly back in the day? My grandfather joined the army in 1944 and servedwith the 2nd infantry division. By 1945 he was a sergeant. During the civil war there were cases of guys going from lieutenant to colonel in 4 years. Was the rank structure just less defined or something?
Officers die in wars and need to be replaced. My great grandfather was a seargeant in the Austrian army when Anschluss happened. He finished the war as a major.
Merit, active combat, high death rates, and enlisted ranks meant very little (same as today). You have SEAL E-8s who are in their early 30s.
Also this was before the USA decided the officer corps was an aristocratic club and banned battlefield commissions.

Lots of dead men's shoes to fill in.
Prove me wrong.
>HK USP
-Start to show pitting in the bore ridiculously early into their lifespans
-They aren't as reliable as people think they are, some jam a lot
-USP45 grip is like a 2x4 and is just too big if your hands are merely medium sized
>HK P30 and VP9
-No option for a flat backstrap, you always have this weird podiatric hump digging into your palm as if you are wearing shoes with insoles designed to support high arches
-The four piece grip will always flex under your hand, which is unnerving
-W I D E
>Glock
-Trigger is uncomfortable
-Stock sights suck (add $90 to the cost of any new Glock purchase for night sights)
-BTTF issue with 9mm models may not have been fixed
>Beretta 92fs and PX4
-Slide-mounted safety/decocker is unintuitive, unergonomic and dangerous
-Unappealing designs that don't sell very well and seem like they're a year away from being discontinued
>Sig P-series
-Ergos are designed for large hands only, NO options for handlets
-Always going to be concerned about the alloy frames getting worn out if you don't have enough lube on the rails
-Balance in the hand tends to be shit across the board
-Recoil management is mediocre, especially for the weight of these guns. A comparable Glock or USP will always have noticeably less recoil.
>Colt 1911
-Reliability is spotty, lemons exist
-Fit and finish are spotty, need to inspect the gun in person so can't take advantage of online deals
>Browning Hi Power
-It uses a weird trigger transfer bar system that relies on spring tension to align all the parts and I do not trust it.
-The sights are kind of backwards, why does Browning hate three dot sights?
>FNH
-*Squishy squishy*
>CZ 75
-Small parts breakage is commonplace. The only gun I ever had to throw out was a CZ 75 because the magazine catch spring retaining screw broke off in the frame and there was no way to get the stem out.
>Ruger (any)
-Fit and finish are garbage
>Smith & Wesson
-Glock copies that aren't as good as Glocks
>P30 is exactly as wide as a glawk
>wide is a complaint for P30
>not for glock
>>34693219
The 9mm P30 is as wide as a .45 ACP Glocks, so no, they are not "the same" as Glocks when you compare the same calibers.

That's weird. I wonder if 4chan will display this garbage in comments too.
Just finished war and peace 2017 I went with my reenactment group but didn't play on Saturday for shopping so ill start with the Germans.
Explain to me why isn't the department of defense spending trillions of dollars on artificial intelligence research. This shit is more dangerous than nukes imo.
What would happen if china or russia got it first? Then all the nulear deterrents would be useless.
America had a manhattan project for nukes, so why not for AI?
Because their budget isn't big enough.
But they're at least spending millions.
I think they do, but keep it covered up.
>>34693058
lol you think the money still goes to our safety and not to the military industrial complex. The government buys what the MIC wants to sell them, not what the people need.
be advised; you are now have full command of an entire battalion of female korean infantry, including their entire compliment of field equipment. they are excellent riflemen, and have undergone many months of the most rigorous training the korean military has to offer.
what do you do?
All of them in reverse order of age
order them to kill themselves and then i defect to the west

So my work makes these plastic bullet casings, apparently they break down into nothing after being fired.
What does /k/ think? Is this the future?
Well how does it break down to nothing and second where does all the 'dust' from the casing go of that shit builds up it could fuck up the cycling process.
Break down to nothing after firing but before ejection

Did we just read Guerilla Marketing?
Guys, I think /v/ and /k/ had a Russian baby.
Thoughts on this game? I preordered to get into closed beta and the keys are sent out next week. Retarded graphical fidelity, realistic handling/recoil, authentic location based body armor simulation, proper ballistics, gun collision (longer guns are clumsier indoors, shorter ones aren't), dynamic stances (no cover system, you hold a modifier and roll the mouse wheel to adjust how high or low you crouch/stand to maximize cover), jamming system based off weapon durability, best of all, super detailed gun customization. My gun nut boner is diamond hard. Plenty of raifus to be made.
Thoughts?

>tfw haven't bought a patch in months because all the designs are so horrendously bad
guys i think this might be it, we've had our laughs & velcro-backed memes, but it's time to face the music. after this thread I think we should just let the patch general die already. more importantly time to stop giving these man-children money so they're forced to get a real job.
Given that the technology is available and the moral considerations aren't an issue, what are the most practical body modifications that can help a rifleman fight, biological or otherwise?
A more efficient heart and bigger lungs are an obvious priority, as is a reinforced spine and joints and a thicker skull. Stronger perception would be a big help, especially the hearing and sight, an ability to see in low light would be a real game changer, and it's cut the carrying weight too. Maybe a stomach that can digest anything, neutralizing bacteria and other contaminants, so you can drink from puddles if you have to. Any other ideas?

So what's the deal with the Rhodesian Bush War?
I know nothing about it other than that everybody on /k seems to love it.
Somebody care to explain? What was it about and why does /k love it so much?
Also post cool pics and vids from the war
>>34692625
>operation dragon rogue 2.0
sounds like the name of one of a D&D campaign lmao
Quick rundown:
>Rhodesia bows to no one
>In contact with UK
>UK gets rid of all it's colonies and Commonwealth governments, post WWII to seem less imperialistic
>If this happens, it fucks over Rhodesia
>Rhodesia makes a Declaration of Independence
>UK says fuck you and tells everyone to not support them
>Everyone but (((Israel))) and South Africa basically leave Rhodesia to fend for itself
>War lords move in, the ZAPU & ZANU
>Both backed by Commies (Russians & Chinks)
>Rhodesia holds strong -- ENTIRELY BY ITSELF as Israel/SA eventually pull support due to outside pressure for nearly 3 decades
>Rhodesia's Selous Scouts have a fucking absurd KDR (like 30:1)
>Slowly chipped away for years
>Utter underdogs
>Eventually collapses, Mugabe takes over
>White genocide and genocide against all blacks who fought for Rhodesia
>Total cleanse
>New government of Zimbabwe
>All white farmers leave the country or die
>Country is experiencing one of the worst famines in history
>Mugabe literally begging white people back
It just fulfills /k/'s fantasy of having our own little colony with a bunch of dumb nigger Commies to operate against and run little chance of being killed in return.
To this day, the UK claims Rhodesia was racist and you're basically a Nazi for supporting them. America has always remained neutral and still is about the topic.
Why don't they make good bullpup rifles anymore /k/?
Why would you want to carry a stupid long ass rifle anyway?
>>34692567
But they do.
>>34692567
ok but
Have any bullpups been chambered for something in a .30 or larger caliber?
Who else /fixedstock/ here?

>zero wobble, better stability

Folding stock is for mechanized pussies and collapsible stock is for manlets.
FIXED STOCK MASTER RACE
Fixed stocks MP5 looks so much better than folding/collapsible that it's stunning
