I'm thinking of entering into the patch game, and I need some recommendations. I'm looking to get into the top echelons of patch collectors, nothing casual. I see there are some patch collectors that have been here for five years, so I have some questions for those of you:

Is it too late for me to become a top patch collector? I see some patch walls here and they look like SHIT, but I'm still at a disadvantage knowing I haven't got a chance at some patches.

Which patches are the best for a new collector to start your wall off? I am stuck deciding between between flags, anime girls, or video game references. Was thinking of starting out with a Katawa Shoujo patch, what do you guys think?
