Pic related is the actual shotgun Kurt Cobain used to blow his head off 23 years ago that's still currently in the possession of the Seattle police.
Its a Remington model 11

This is the exact AR-18 that was used in The Terminator; It's most famous apperance
famous or infamous?
>Dillinger's airshit

Kurt didn't blow his own head off you sheep.
Wake up.
A few years ago, I was watching the idiots at Vice news wander through the riots at Ferguson and narrowly escape being culturally enriched to death. The livestream was amazing.. the two girls and Tim narrowly escaped a BBC rape death over and over.
I remember watching and thinking, boy, I wish I could be there livestreaming, but also be comfortable and safe. So here's what I'm doing now:
I'm saving up to buy a military surplus BRDM-2 from an overseas importer. They can be had for under $10,000, and are easily made street legal. Just have to add turn signals, horn, etc. The interiors can be customized and made comfy.
People (mostly /pol/) already have expressed strong interest in paying to put advertising, catchphrases, and names / WW2 bomber art on the APC, as well as for the privilege of access to the loudspeakers that will be installed. Here's a lengthy 8gag thread if you're curious:
What would be a good way to crowdfund this so maybe we can start with a larger APC- like maybe a BTR-60? That way we could carry more VIPs for an in-person experience.
Obviously this wouldn't be good for contained, highly localized riots like Berkeley, but for spread out chaos zones like Ferguson. At places like Berkeley, the APC could perform the function of holding 'the line' for the safe media section.

That's a fucked up idea, seems something taken out of a futuristic novel, I like it.
>>34696588
this sounds like a huge money sink for little to no payoff.
First up, it's going to be hard to predict exactly where the next big riot/protest is going to be. Are you going to base this in Chicago? Baltimore? Cali somewhere? There's way too much ground to cover with just one vehicle.
Or are you going to also get a trailer to drive it around and setup where you need it? That adds a massive expense on top of the vehicle itself...
Secondly, I assume you or someone is going to be driving this armored vehicle through protests and having it blast racial slurs and other profanity at random. I have a feeling the cops are not going to like that at all. Not only will you be inciting more violence, but you could easily injure someone protesting or even the cops. You're going to be fined out your ass the first second the things rolls up on the street.
Finally, how are you planning to get maintenance done on this vehicle? How many people in the US have the skills and knowledge to even begin repairing it. Are you going to do it yourself? This is an especially crucial issue if you're planning on driving it everywhere a new protest pops up. Hell, even if you find a mechanic, how much is it going to cost and how long will it take for spare parts to arrive?
tl;dr this is a retarded idea cooked up by an autist with hardly a penny to his name who gets off on acting like an edgy racist shithead on anonymous anime forums.

You sound triggered.
>small
>light
>high capacity
>easier to shoot than a handgun, in semi-automatic
>more than enough range for any realistic scenario
>relatively "quiet" with correct ammunition and suppressor
If the NFA didn't exist, would submachine guns be the most popular firearm for home defense?
Although they are nearly obsolete as an infantry weapon, I think they'd be the go to option for basically everything else.
>>34696481
what's this? extra trigger?
mag release? why would you have mag release that can accidentally be pressed?
That's it

i'm about to goto this shithole because i heard they have 30% off firearms since they're closing
any good deals I should know about?
which is less shit, a new mossberg 500 or a new rustington 870?
>>34696275
My local one had yugo 24/47s for $200
Get the 500
>>34696275
30% off GM prices is going to be retail price at most LGS' lol
Unless they've done some markdowns since I've been in one, which was probably two months ago I'll be near one tomorrow, might go and see what they got, but I'm not expecting any miracles.
Also, 500 > Nigger70
Gander Mountain is going out of business, firearms are 30% off.
What should I pick up in the $200 to $600 range?
Don't have a pistol permit so that's out of the question for now

Missiles slows down as it approaches the plane ..??
can someone explain this? it either this Russian is dumb as bricks or I'm dumb as bricks, doesn't the AIM-120 have a rocket engine, how can it slow down?
and how can su-35 outrun the mach 4 AIM-120 ??

The rocket motor burns out quickly. Most of a missile's flight is unpowered, unless it's really close.

IR lasers are used because you can't aim your sights with NODs
but what's the point of visible lasers?
>>34695724
You can see where your going to shot with out looking down the sights
>>34695724
Quick n' dirty shot placement at medium to close range, especially where you may not have space or the time to line up the sights. Got one on my CCW for that reason, shoot from the hip if need be.
>>34695724
quick targeting in close quarters when you may not have full use of your sights.
Cuckifornian here. Since we are limited to ten rounds per magazine, what are my best options for a modern single stack 9mm handgun? I'm eyeballing the Ruger SR1911 commander in 9mm (although I'm not sure it's on our roster). What would y'all recommend?

Dude I can't, my Mom's sick and my job and friends are here.
How many degrees of elevation can you move the gun up without the T&E? I can't find any pics of it pointed up at a high elevation.
>>34695536
I don't have the book answer, but I know they can go up very high. If you want photos of it, search for pictures of convoys inside the wire, since it is standard to point machineguns up when they are coming back into a FOB.
idk the exact number but probably about 45?
>>34695638
Those look more like the pedestal style mount they use on tanks. I'm thinking because of the way the pintle mount is built it goes up significantly less.
I found a guy on armslist selling a wasr, he said he'all take $550 for the gun, the scope, and 400 rounds of tulammo. Just from looking online this seems to be a pretty good deal. I don't have an AK yet, should I go for it? Pic related, is rifle
ask for a better pic of the magwell something about it looks bent
that is a good deal if the gun is in good shape
check the barrel b4 you buy it
see if he will throw in a mag or two
Was thinking about getting a break action but not sure if paying twice the price of a single barrel is worth it.
Pls tell me theres more to it than just an extra round and because it looks cool.
>>34695387
why not both?
Buy a shotgun you like, save money and then buy another one.
Depends what you'd use it for.
In my last hunting trip with my O/U I got two grouse in two seconds, I would've felt silly as hell if I had only a single shot.
Does nobody find it hilarious how fast "Alt-Right" turned into a hate symbol? People who are considered alt right by people on the left called themselves that at the start. Now they refuse it vehemently, like its some sort of death mark.
Fuck, I hate liberals.
If the Germans had M4s instead of Kar98s in WW2 would anything have changed?
>>34695295
No for the same reason the stg44 didn't change the war, the guns were great but the allies were bombing the shit of their factories and supply lines so they couldn't get the ammo to the front and since this was a brand new cartridge they didn't have existing stores of it as would presumably be the case for 5.56x45mm.
Small arms don't win wars
Could they even make M4s? Did they have the required metallurgy and industry to mass produce them?
