My Dad just gave me a revolver his Grandfather left him and I haven't any idea what it is...
Dad says his Grandfather had is as long as he can remember but never asked about it so he hasn't a clue either

Its clearly rimfire, folding trigger, double action, and its pretty small (fits in my hand) probably like .22 cal

The only Marking on it is the highlighted 'B'

Well here is the issue, my dad had agreed a while ago to buy guns for the house, he insisted on a shotgun about a month ago, i told him that as a first gun a shotgun is a bad idea, that is far better a pistol, that you can carry, he has almost zero gun experience, save from shooting mausers almost 50 years ago.
A few days ago i asked him again, and he had agreed to purchase it, now if asked him if he had the money today for buying it.
He told me he had never agreed to purchase the pistol, promised it to me in the future, when i insist that it has to be purchase it as soon as posible, i asked him if it was because he didnt had the money or he didnt want, he just told me he didnt want right now, also he joked.
About half an hour later i tried to have a serious talk with him, i asked him if he cared about having the tools for defense, that for me it was the top domestic priority, he got fed up of me trying to reason with him, told me that he wasnt willing to "dump money on my collectionist fetish" and in not so harsh words told me to fuck off, i told him that i was disapointed and left.
What would /k/ do?

Our investor, for whatever fucked up reason, have decides to grant us 10 Billion USD, along with a huge empty oil platform out in the Mediterranean west of Cyprus out in international waters. We think this may be a fuck up in bank transfers and what-not, however our lawyers have taken the time to assure us this is all totally legal. The rig has space for 5 helicopters/VTOL aircraft, with extra spaces going for 50 Mil USD each, up to 30 spaces.

Watercraft is also to be considered, along with armoring and defensive measures of the currently civilian-grade rig.

You are also granted, of course, a bunch of "Security Personnel" - i.e your fellow /k/ommandos. I don't know how many there are, as we haven't been able to do a headcount because they keep ending up in a brawl in the hallways arguing over "nuggets" or something.

These men need a standardized uniforms and camouflage pattern, load-outs of gear and weaponry, all of which of course is entirely up to you!

And finally, we need to have a goal; other than working with whomever wants to pay us we of course must have something our men can rally behind, but there is much to choose from, especially from our position with Europe, Africa and even the Middle East in our range.

Personally, sir, I would like to retake Rhodesia and install a new government, but your thoughts on this matter are the final word.

Of course, if there are other aspects that you'd like to express your thoughts about feel free to; the men aren't going to get restless as there are plenty of tendies out there to satisfy their needs for a while.

I'm currently living outside the US for work.

I'd like to buy some stuff online and have them shipped to my local FFL back home (Texas if the state matters) and have my dad or brother pick them up for me.

Are there any laws or regulations pertaining to this that I should be aware of?

Trying to become hasguns before I lose the chance. I'm worried.

Hey /k/ so I brought a nam' era helmet cover from a local antique store and the guy threw in the helmet it was attached to for free. Anyone know what on earth it is? One of the other surplus guys in the store thought that it might have been a climbing helmet and suspected that its British due to the liner but thats about it.

I see YouTube full of "what if Nazis never invaded Russia" -videos & exactly zero videos about what could/would have happened if Hitler never attacked in the West. People are so fixated on the idea that a war between Western allies and Nazis would have happened no matter what "because were evil and wanted to dominate the world", personally I think both the image of Nazis as evil & the claim that they were trying to conquer the world were born during the war along with a lot of other propaganda (Nazis were certainly seen as a threat by France and Britain, but Britain also saw USA and Soviet Union as threats to their power), but unlike most war-time propaganda people still believe these two propaganda pieces.

So, my dear /k/omrades, what if Hitler had never invaded Denmark, Norway, Benelux and France? (And UK and France had never declared war on Germany, after that an attack in the West *had to* happen)
