F35 of the sea
Can we use one of them for home defense against thief?
>>31707584
Sure, you could have a capacitor bank in your bedroom and hook it up to the gun with a reel of 1 gauge cable

>fiber optics are not durable
>glocks are the by end all handguns and anything else is inadequate
>>31703154
No idea. I've never listened to one.
I get so tired of the M9 comments from fuckers that haven't ever even shot one.
i did have my fiber optic fall out of my front sight in the middle of a stage once.

>put 300 rounds through Glock 17
>3 inch grouping all day and no misfires
>stripping her down
>cleaning off the filthy slav ammo I plink with
>running q-tip through the slide rails and adding that thin layer of lubricant to keep my lady running smooth but clean
There is nothing more godamn satisfying as keeping your funs well maintained. Does anyone feel like half the fun is the end of day break down and cleaning? Any monkey can pull a trigger. It takes someone with an appreciation and interest to keep the weapon in good working order over the years.
>>31702932
Anyone who doesn't keep their guns in good working order shouldn't be owning guns
>shoot ~250 rounds through my Shield
>no malfunctions because I detail strip it everytime I shoot it
>detail stripping it is so easy and satisfying
>mfw driving those two roll pins in and out with a punch and a mallet
>cleaning all the little roll pins, springs, the sear and lubing them afterwards
I really want to move away from striker guns for DA/SA but how satisfying and easy dissassembling the M&P series barring the plunger is so fucking satisfying. I might get an M&P9 Compact instead.
>>31702932
Cleaning guns after shooting them is half the hobby of owning them. Hence the only rule of thumb is if you own more guns then you can shoot or clean within a single day then you have to many or you should trade some for simpler ones that are a breeze to clean thoroughly. Unless of course you have a hardcore 300k + collection. But that's just an investment.

What is the consensus on the Jericho series? Is it GOAT?
held one at the shop just the other day, felt pretty comfy. thinking of getting one now.
>>31702044
I'm asking because I see a lot of people complaining about the QC of CZ handguns
>>31702112
They are pretty good. Reliability is on par with anything else made nowadays. It is all in how you care for it and the loads you run in it. If it is comfy for you, get it. Don't accept a substitute because the memesters are set on something. If the Jericho is what you want then get it. I gave heard good things.

how accurate are the bombs usa and russia drops?
>>31701517
Does it matter to you?
Sub moa
The US has a lot more precision guided "smart bombs"
It seems to be partly down to doctrinal differences, partly down to money, and partly down to the US developing PGMs first.
Hi. I am new to firearms and I was just wondering about self defense.
So basically I want a gun I will never have to take apart and clean, and I won't have to fire very often. I work a super busy schedule and I really don't want to have to bother with it until I need it.
I also live in california so I guess I need something legal there.
What do you recommend?
>>31701343
AK 47. Just don't stick it in mud.
>>31701343
I'm from CA and even I think you're retarded.
>>31701343
You're going to have to clean your guns. Get over it.
Why isnt there a lot of 80% lower platforms? I mean, why isnt there an M82 80% lower/weld together kit? Is it because of copyright issues or what?
>>31701288
The patent hasn't expired yet and won't for a long time.
>>31701309
So the AR15 and 1911 patent either dont exist or has expired?
>>31701288
You don't want to fuck around with an M82. The people who manufacture them are extremely highly trained and skilled. They are the best in the world. My buddy used to work there in Tennessee. I got a limited tour however, what I did see was precision and professionalism. All of the employees are no-nonsense workers. It's serious business once they punch in.

I mean wow. I knew it was good but this tank is truly in a class of its own. The most advanced tank in the world. No western tank can compete with these high-tech features.
