They have their own proprietary version of Keymod that they've been trying to shill for the past couple of years. The SA80A3 is their own proposal as was their original CSASS submission.
The US Army requested some changes to the furniture which includes the Geissele MLOK rail. H&K already has an existing relationship with Geissele since the HK416s produced for JSOC units are equipped with Geissele rails from the factory
Colt Canada tested Keymod vs MLOK and found that MLOK is more stable, is stronger, and is preferred by Military/LEO users
Even KAC came to the same conclusion which is why their offerings are now mostly M-LOK
