this could possibly help to arrange the particles of whatever gas you wish to use in a tube or conical shape towards the target(s)

The problem then is how you would you conduct electricity into it at a point that the plasma would be at optimum density and temperature when it reached the target.

it would most likely be very limited unless there would be a way to solidify plasma and have it propelled magnetically and ionized by some form of laser might work

keep in mind that this model would be massive in scale and require absurd amounts of expensive materials, research and time, most likely not man portable, but it's fun to pretend

As much as I like 1911's, they're pretty much "ban proof" so I don't have to worry about acquiring one later. But some of the more obscure models of the USP are hard to come by, and some of them have scary salt features that could be banned later on.

Tentatively scheduled for either New Years (so we can blow something up at the stroke of midnight) or just before or after Christmas.

Obviously I'd like to avoid posting the exact location here for security purposes, but it is about an hour west of Edmonton. You can drive directly to the location in any sort of moderately capable vehicle. If you lack that, you will have to cross a tiny field on foot. There are very long sightlines allowing for long-range shooting.
