Any of you /k/ommies live in CA?
I wanna buy a cheap hi-point handgun just for fun, target range and stuff and by default some basic home defense.
Do I need a gun safe? Anything I need to do?
Also, recommendation for affordable first gun?
I went shooting the other day and it was fun, so I'd like my own gun to practice with at the range.
>>32057267
>Anything I need to do?
Move to a different state.
>>32057267
You have a few options as far as an affordable first gun. I could give you a pretty big list. However next year you wont be able to get a Normal AR-15 so if you have the cash buy one like Right now.
What part of CA? GODS COUNTRY or are you a SoCuck

Need more info. Do you want a pistol or a rifle? AR or Bolt Action? What did you shoot at the range that you enjoyed?
New attempt (16.11.2016!) by the EU commission to ban specifically:
- Civilian firearms of “AR 15 family”, also derivates
- Civilian firearms of “AK47 family”, also derivates
- ALL detachable magazines above 10 rounds (also for handguns, repeating-firearms, rimfires etc.)
- Strong regulation of magazines and semi-automatic firearms
- Stricest evaluation of exemptions
Immediate decision on bans, since “EU citizens” demand more protection!

if they keep pushing this globalist left wing faggot shit maybe the right will finally rise and waste them
Damn those czechs will be pissed off.
Hopefully they will Czexit. I was speaking to my czech shooting instructor back in july and he hates the EU for their gungrabbing ways
I was told a shot show or two ago that semi MP44s and MP40s where coming to the US. The fuck are they?
>Shit your waiting for to come out thread.
>>32056667
I'm still waiting for that goddamn Deserttech MDR goddamnit
Don't know about MP40s, but as for the StG-44, check out https://www.hmgunworks.com/products/firearms/
Here's your answer to the MP44, dunno about the MP40.

Alright /k/omrades, I'm going to a gun show tomorrow and my interest in owning an AK has been growing. What are the different types of AKs? Where do I start? Been enjoying my SKS for a while and looking for a reliable commie rifle to replace it as my primary. Can $700 buy me anything that isn't shit tier?
ITT: Redpill me on the AK.
>>32056366
>Can $700 buy me anything that isn't shit tier?
pretty much a WASR is the only non-shit you're gonna get for 700
>>32056374
This, or a Vepr.
I'm in the market for an AK myself and it seems it's either buy a WASR or save up your big boy bucks and get a Saiga, Norinco, or Arsenal.
>>32056396
Are Saigas really over 700 now?
I got both of mine just a few years ago for under 600 each. Converted one by hand (308), but the other (5.56) came ready to roll.
JUST CURIOUS AND HAHA HYPOTHETICAL
What is the legality of a paramilitary unit that hunts down and executes animal abusers? Asking a hypothetical question for a hypothetical friend.
>>32056174
Is there a person or people you know who are abusing animals anon?
Cause I'll be happy to help fuck em up.
>>32056191
No. This is hypothetical.
Wasnt there some dude trying to make and anti poaching security corp in africa?
Hypothetically could an alliance between the ROK and Japan defeat Chinese agression?
US is not intervening due to natural disaster/MAD with Russia/etc.
Korea has huge ship building capability and japan has good industrial capacity as well, can they beat the zergrush spam China would throw at them?
>>32055831
They'd give them enough time for US backup to arrive.
>>32055831
saw this before with out the vertical fins. what is that ? total thrust vectoring for stabilization?
This is in the works. TWICE is a PsychOp by the CIA and the intelligence agencies of Taiwan, Japan, and Korea. Tzuyu's incident with the Taiwanese flag was staged to provoke China. JYP made sure to get very attractive foreigners in the group. Korea heavily promotes the group in the military where, you guessed, Tzuyu is super popular. It is all part of cultural programing to lay the foundation for stronger military alliances.
Hey there, /k/. I'm looking for some ideas on some (non lethal) camp defence traps, for when I'm alone innawoods, to notify me and prevent people sneaking up on my camp. Does anyone here do this? What do you use?
>Pic unrelated but interesting
>>32055775
>nonlethal
then whats the point
>>32055775
I mean if you're really into beans n' weenies rig up a trip wire with the cans suspended from it and fill them with a few rocks. Do this around the perimeter of your camp.
>>32055775
cans tied to string set low as trip wires.
Put them together but let them jingle, whenever someone tries to take your shit they fling the fuck around. Remember to cc in case of drunk assholes
Why does it come in a shoe box?
>>32055596
Because you paid like 350
>>32055596
Because it's cheap as fuck and the packaging reflects this.
>>32055666
>Devil knock on my door talkin bout some tree fiddy
bought this gun today (not that pic, but same gun) its a Ranger Model 35 bolt action .22 s/l/lr
it was really cheap. its basically my first gun
>>32055494
is it good? was it worth $50?
How fast should I be able to draw my CCW? Does it matter that much or should I be more concerned about not fucking it up or gripping low or something?
Do i really need to practice it and be quickdraw mcgraw or am I good as long as I get it out in a timely manner? Obviously it takes longer to draw if your hands aren't on your gun
>>32055163
0.001 seconds
this video might help
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5p7XHr9H8bA
>>32055163
draw speed isnt as important as shot placement
be confident, place your shots where they need to go
you win
What common CCW feels the coolest to carry?
This one's pretty chilly.

series 70 1911
>>32055189
10mm if you like feeling cool from how financially retarded you are
Why do I always see videos of infantry training in open fields? Why the fuck would modern infantry engage in open fields? That's a great way to get fucked up by armor, CAS, or artillery.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VzClG9WOW7w
ELI5 - Why on earth would you have infantry out in the open exposed like that? They are best to take towns/cities/etc.

>Implying Strykers aren't just rolling coffins against a near-peer.
>>32055053
Well they are marines
>>32055149
Well they did simulate a Stryker brigade taking out an enemy armored brigade..only with heavy casualties.
Draw it again. You're the ace field man. Draw it again.
>>32054924
Where is the toilet again?
>>32054924
But I don't know how to draw...
>"He made a decision that saved a lot of people," he said. "I was told that he was found protecting a female soldier. . He didn't get to live a full life, but he lived."
>"I was told that he was found protecting a female soldier.
>protecting a female soldier
Wow what a suprise
Wow he was told something?
It must've happened.
>>32054918
Are you saying you doubt women in combat is a huge mistake cause they are cowards and men will get hurt trying to protect them?
he probably would have done the same for a buddy
Alright /k/, pick a standard rifle for every U.S. citizen to own based off what would be logical.
1. Ease of use for beginners and adv. users.
2. Availability of rifle in North America, obv.
3. Effective in defensive AND offensive scenarios.
4. Easy to maintain.
5. Cheap and plentiful ammo
6. High quality, accurate, good range, recoil is manageable, ect.
Basically, the best bang for your buck In America.
