You can get them, but you're only allowed to fire them for "functionality testing purposes" though. Under direct supervision from a LEO in some (fascist) states, and they won't authorize it unless the buyer (who would need to be LE/PMC/MIL/C3SOT themselves) is present. Even in free states you're in deep shit if you just take them out to the range regularly, and deeper shit if you go innawoods and are caught.
