RPG, hands down.
The SMAW is a giant piece of shit that never stays zero'd, the spotting rifle never works flawlessly, the standard scope is garbage, and on, and on...

Why exactly these two?
How do you guys cope with cross-dominance, such as being right handed but dominant in your left eye? It seems to me that with pistols the simplest solution is to cock your head slightly (like Jeff Cooper in this photo) so that your dominant eye is aligned with sights. However, for shouldered guns this is impossible. It seems that the only solution would be to shoot with your other hand. Has anyone had any success with this method?
I'm left eye dominate but shoot right handed no problem. Get gud
>>32773970
Did you train to shoot with your left-hand but saw better results right-handed? Or have you always shot right-handed and didn't bother to see if you would perform better left-handed?

He just closes both eyes and pulls the trigger.
what is /k/ opinion about the PGM Hécate II ?

That's a big rifle.
Is the 226 worth the money?
I bought one... ohh around September or so. I love it. I've put roughly 1300 rounds through it already. It's accurate, (in my opinion) easy to clean, and shows little signs of wear.
Worth it.
of course, what is this bait
>>32773983
>Is the 226 worth the money?
As long as you're not paying more than $800 for one, sure. They are not worth the >$1000 MSRP.
I currently pocket carry an lcp custom, good pocket gun imo, especially with the hogue grip and extended mag, leather pocket holster works well too.
Is the p238 worth upgrading to? Could it fit easily in khakis or jeans? I need to pocket carry without too much printing since I carry at work. I can pocket carry my shield with the flush mag but it prints too much for my taste.
Also what about a snub-nose revolver, like a s&w airweight? Could I pocket carry something like that?
>pic related, the lcp
no.
I've got an assload of guns, but nothing compares to my LCP with the clipdraw on it.
I can CC in my boxers with no shirt.
What else can you do that with?
I've had:
-J-frame
-P238
-Two Seecamps
-TCP
-P32
The J-frame and P238 aren't pocket pistols unless you're wearing your highschool goth jeans. Big enough and heavy enough I'd really want a belt holster. But as far as belt guns go they're pretty comfy.
And compared to the LCP it's a lot larger.. Feels like twice the size.

pocket rocket now means about 3 different things over in /out/. None of them are guns.
HAlp
I live in a sanctuary city that is about to lose all federal funding for social programs. This means riots
Will this rifle be good enough or should I go with something different? Budget is $700
I have shot guns before
>>32773442
I would go for semi-auto, don't want to be caught cycling the action. SKS are cheap, come with bayo, and you can spend the leftover $$$ on ammo.
>>32773479
Ok I heard yugos suck tho
>>32773442
for $700 you can get a functional AR
and a couple hundred rounds of ammo
Found a few of these I thought I'd share.
>>32773036
whoops not /k/ related
My old man wants me to take care of his Colt Government model that's been sitting around in a small case for a couple of years. What are the basics I should know for keeping it in working order?
Pic isn't mine, but it looks about the same.
>>32772715
Oil it, shoot it, don't lose or sell it. Not hard.
>>32772715
just throw it in the bilge of your boat

To my knowledge no load for .300 BLK can achieve this without using machined bullets that cost a few dollars each. This also means that basically all dedicated PDW calibers that aren't designed for use from a shorter pistol length barrel are obsolete considering you can get true rifle like performance from a similar size package with the M855A1.
For those interested in what this means for long range performance with regular barrel lengths. The M855A1 has a slightly flatter trajectory than the older M855, and M855 hits the 2318 FPS from this test at about 250 yards from a 20" barrel, 225 yards from a 16" barrel, and 200 yards from a 14.5" barrel (see pic related), meaning the M855A1 will still manage to fragment at least out to those distances. Not even the Mk262 Mod 1 was able to fragment at those distances. The Mk262 Mod 1 also stopped fragmenting once you started going below a 10" barrel.
>>32772707
>that cost a few dollars each
oh just like 855a1
>>32772734
M855A1 is only expensive on the civilian market currently due to low supply.
>>32772707
No one else is interested in this?
So /k/...How would we actually attack ISIS if need be.
Is this accurate?

/k/ activists create secure telegram conference => contact Peshmerga => fly to Baghdad => join kurds => fight ISIS.
Hard more => join Syrians
Nightmare mode => join Russians.

I vote for nightmare mode
What's the best option for a rifle for anons who live in states where "assault weapons" (AR-15s) are restricted?
>mini-14
>m1 garand
>sks
>mossberg mvp
>others?
>>32771577
a moving truck
>>32771577
Of all those at least in Maryland you can cash and carry an AR-15 as long as it is an HBAR. You can also build one if you want.
>>32771593
>>32771593
this
though will say, living in Connecticut, we can still get almost all of the cool stuff. It just costs twice as much sometimes...
Were bullpups a mistake?

Ugliest rifle design... ever.
What's the best subcompact on the market for cc and why is it the HK P2000SK?
>>32771257
That's a weird looking Sig-P320 anon.
>>32771262
Weird looking is a pretty apt way to describe all P320s
>subcompacts
lol, Glock 19
Why leo 2 is such POS? I tried defending it on my russian imageboard, but got BTFO. Fuck you germany.
Seriously who the fucks put ammo storage in hull and doesnt even bother covering it with reactive armor? This thing throws turret harder than t-72 does.
>Single goatfucker jihadi can simply waltz up to an Abrams, toss a grenade into the crew commander hatch, kill the crew and cause the loaded road to cook off
Abrams BTFO'd.
>>32772352
You know, even in this case the worst which will happen are dead commander/gunner/loader. In leo case, the entire hull ammo compartment will cook off and blow tank into smithereens.
>>32772268
>who the fucks put ammo storage in hull and doesnt even bother covering it with reactive armor
Pretty much everyone does.
The only tank I can think of that comes close to not having any ammunition storage space in the hull is the M1, and even it keeps six rounds in the hull.
/k/... Please, hold me
What even is this atrocity?
Also, general BOB discussion thread
>>32770641
It's not like they would really know how to use the guns, just ambush them and take their gear from the carcasses
It's from this article: http://www.vocativ.com/390175/liberal-preppers-stock-up-on-guns-food/
>>32770641
Why does that shotgun fire bullets? I'm confused.
Also my bob has two magnesium sparker thingies, a windup flashlight and a shitty chink fixed blade knife. Oh and a copy of that meme SAS survival book. I'm still more prepared than anyone I know.
